By request...here's a post about Joss's first swim(s) :)
The very first time we got him in the pool was at Auburn's aquatic center. We couldn't go in the shallow pool then, so it wasn't that exciting---
Here he is with his robe on over his speedo :) He's pretending he's Uncle Jeremy here and getting ready for his "big swim" :) That little speedo is so cute on him, but with his chubby little legs, I'm afraid to use it again.
In the aquatic center, there was lots of people swimming, and tons of lights to look at. The water was pretty chilly so we couldn't stay in too long. He was pooped when we got in the car, and fell asleep before we even got home!
His next time in the pool was this last weekend for Father's Day up at my grandfather's pool. He really liked it. He would splash his little arms like crazy. He was fine with getting splashed if he was the one doing the splashing!
We dipped him under a couple times...he wasn't thrilled about that, but he did really well still! His little swimmy diaper made his little tush float straight up to the top :) So it was either straight up and down, or on his tummy (like above). He loved being in the water though. As you can see from his expression below :) He was definitely worn out after playing so hard!

I can't believe he's already getting in the water, what a fun summer!!! I LOVE his little speedo! :)
Love the Blog guys. We are just starting this blog thing as well and just excited to share moments with friends and family. That little Joss makes me smile. What a sweet baby. So excited you guys are moving back to Exuma...expect a visit from the Kerstens during the Alaska freeze:)
