Joss had his pictures made the other day (black eye and all). She said she would be able to fix that in the pictures, so hopefully it won't show up too well. He did so well! He was having fun with all the new flashes and lights and the new face to play with him. At one point, he was sitting up playing around and she said "Now can I get you to reach for your toes" and as if he'd been modeling all along he just kind of reached down and gave us this look as if he was saying "Like this?" It was very cute-- and we all got a little laugh out of it! I'll post the link on here once she gets them edited and posted for us too. Thank you Jeremy & Heather for the gift certificate!!!
Before I forget, I haven't really mentioned anything on here, because for some reason in my mind if I'm reading about something on a blog, I just feel like "Everyone" reads that same one...but we all know that's know how this whole blogging thing works :) But Dallas' brother, Jeremy, just left for Singapore to train and get acclimated over on that side of the world before heading over to Beijing for the Olympics. Yes, he will be swimming in the Olympics. He will proudly be representing the Bahamas and we are soo excited to be cheering him on once again! I'm sure Heather will keep us posted along the way with his events and things like that (especially since she will be over there too), so check their blog along the way to stay up to speed (http://jeremyandheatherknowles.blogspot.com/). GO JEREMY!!!
I'm sitting here surrounded by one big mess. Some boxes, packing supplies, piles of stuff to go to goodwill, piles of stuff to throw away, and just aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh........ :) Our lease runs out a week from today, and we didn't want to renew it and worry about finding a sub-leaser and all that, PLUS we are hoping to save some on rent and bills by living with family for the next couple months before moving to Exuma. As you know if you've read the other blogs on here, we've been trying to find Dallas a job up in Jacksonville so that we could head up there and live with Bev and be close to my family until the move to Exuma. Well, that has proved to be a big challenge (of course). So come next weekend, Dallas will be moving me and Joss in with my sister and then he will be coming back down to Auburn to stay with Elliott and keep his job here in Auburn until something else opens up. First, I'd like to thank our families for helping us out and I don't want to seem ungrateful for that at all. Second, I know many folks that have had a worse separation and for a lot longer time that just seeing each other on the weekends (so I know it can be done). Third, I'm just a big fat baby that wants my cake, and icing, and ice cream on the side, so I can't help it if I pout a little! I'm fervently praying that we will only have to live apart for a couple weeks and then something will open up. If it was just me and Dallas I think I would feel a little different about it, but with Joss in the picture now it breaks my heart to think Dallas is only going to be able to see him on the weekends. He's changing so fast right now, and is so much fun... I just don't want "Dada" to miss out on anything!
Okay, well this blog has gotten pretty long, so I'll wrap it up for now.. I've got a few more things to write, but I'll put those up on here later.

Congrats to your brother-in-law, we will cheer for him!
That's so hard that you'll have to be separated! I hope that a job opens up quickly! It's no fun to have your husband far from you. Mine had to travel a bit with his last job and it was a pain. But you will rise to the occasion. It won't be as hard as you think. :)
