Let the Games Begin

Okay, I hope Heather doesn't mind me stealing this picture off of their blog :) But we were all very excited last night to see Jeremy & Andy walking in with the Bahamas. I know Elliott missed it live last night and went back and watched it online... so you should be able to see it if you missed it. They are the white guys in the group :) You won't miss them!!

Our family has always enjoyed watching the Olympics... but having relatives IN the games and over there watching (Heather) makes it so much more exciting (and nerve racking). The Olympics in Athens were the first ones that I knew the Knowles family... and Dallas and I were down in Exuma watching them in our little apartment. I remember getting sooo excited and as the "B" countries started we were getting ready to look for them (even though Jeremy didn't walk in then) and CUT-- time for commercial break. AAAAhhhh you gotta be kidding me! But not this time. Thank you China for your scrambled alphabet (at least when it translates to ours). The Bahamas came in right after a commercial break, so we got a nice clear look at all the athletes, and a very good shot of Jeremy & Andy. As my friend Andrew H. put it, "They were the salt in the pepper!" LOL I thought that was good.

We're so excited for everyone we know over there, and praying for all of their safety and opportunities to share their faith while they are over there. We are having a great time following along on this journey!!

"O! say can you see by the dawn's early light .....march on Bahama land" (our family's combo now) :)

I saw him! I was totally looking for him. Hahaha, he's not in my family, but it's exciting for me since I have some kind of connection via you. Hahaha, I'm a nerd. :)

p.s. I tagged you. Oh, and thanks for leaving your memories with me on my blog. I loved reading what you had to say. I had no idea that those feather beds left such an impression. :) Remember when I came to visit you in Kansas and we got all muddy from stepping through the ice and we were so scared that we would get in sooo much trouble? Yeah, that was great.

Can you share the website for re-watching the athlete entrance at the olympics?
