Alrighty, now that I have a few spare minutes I can update things a little bit :) The past week and a half has been a little crazy (to say the least)! On Thursday we packed up our stuff from the duplex and loaded it in a Uhaul. Our friends Chris and Laura were HUGE helpers the whole week. They helped us keep Joss entertained and clean and haul things.... lifesavers! Chris was listening to music on his cell phone with Joss, and practically rocked him to sleep one night :)
Dallas working hard at home after working hard at work!! Have I ever told ya'll how much I love this man?? Well, I do :)
Laura kept Joss close enough to all the action so that he wouldn't feel left out :) He was sooo good through all this chaos.

Joy (our gray kitty) wasn't so happy with all the commotion. She kept finding hiding places to get away from all the other stuff going on. This is where we found her when we went in to get Joss up after his nap. HINT: she's the tail hiding underneath Teddy Voltz (aka big teddy bear that Joss loves).

Here is another one of her hiding places.... she was sooo freaked out the whole night!

Joss was happy to spend a day at Uncle Elliott's after all the hard work. We just hung out and took it easy. We had to unload Dallas and the kitties :( for now.

Here's a little fun from our day of R&R (keep a close "eye" on him when I point to the camera.... he's so rotten) :)
Joss and I had to take the truck up to Jacksonville before Dallas could leave (because of work) so that we could get the truck turned in on time. He enjoyed riding in the big truck next to mommy! The middle seat was a perfect little fit for his car seat.
Once we got up here to Jacksonville, we unloaded some stuff at Bev's and then took the rest to my parent's for now. Lots of hauling and lifting... and a good little workout. Thanks to my Dad and mom, Bev and Kevin we got it all unloaded fairly quickly.
At this point we are settling in to our new routines and taking things one day at a time. Thank you to everyone that helped this part of our move go as smooth as possible!!

Wow! Being an Army brat sure prepared you for a diverse life style!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Joss in this video clip. I laugh so hard it brings tears to my eyes... Grammy CC
We can certainly relate to the heavy lifting involved in moving. I'm so excited to be settled again. I just read through some of the comments on our blog and read the one you wrote about "The Bag". Yes, it causes quite a spectacle. That is so funny you mentioned the hot tub picture because that is also one of my favorites. They made a slide show for the graduation and that picture was included with the song "it's raining men" :) Enjoy your time with your sister!!!
