Almost 2 weeks now we have been up here at Bev's. We've been trying to all get in some kind of routine... and some days seem to flow better than others :) Nothing wrong on the days that don't... I just don't feel as productive.
Our little man is all over the place these days! He loves getting in his little walker here because she has wood floors...so he can GO!! We have to really be careful what in within his reach now. He also loves to crawl now (still the little military crawl, but it works for him). He usually needs to have a "goal" to reach in order to really get going... this little pink kitty toy worked great the other night! Look at that face...
He really is good about me putting it in his mouth. He has his two top and bottom teeth, and last week another top tooth started poking through ....5 teeth before 8 months!!!! "I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!" So, we want to make sure we get a good jump on his oral hygiene. He gets very excited when I go in there and start getting it ready. I'll show him how mommy brushes her teeth and the whole time he's trying to grab my toothbrush. Then as soon as I show it to him he grabs it and puts it right in his mouth. I have to help him "scrub" his little teeth., but at least he isn't completely against the concept :)
Lastly (for now) Joss and I have really enjoyed being in such a great neighborhood for walking. We've gone up to my mom's work almost everyday this week just to get out of the house a bit. He loves going for walks. He'll just sit back and take it all in--the noises, the sites, the smells...everything :) There's lots of hills, so it's a pretty good little workout for me too!
I'm a little nervous about how Joss is going to react to the move to Exuma. He's going to go from so many people loving on him all the time.. to Mommy and Daddy the majority of the time. Hope we can pick up the slack!!
Once again I'm watching the Olympics... the girls gymnastics is almost over... so we'll see who wins. After that... nite nite :) Hope you've enjoyed the catch-up!

I remember Baby Dragon had an adjustment going from living at my parent's house to just living with Mom and Dad when we moved to Oregon. Moving in general is normally stressful for kids anyway. While he's adjusting to the new place, he'll be adjusting to less attention. I'd give it two weeks. :)
