A little update

Let me see... there hasn't been anything too exciting happening right now. But I've been asked to post some more pics of my roomy since she doesn't have a blog of her own :) Hope you like these Liz! It feels like I hardly ever see Bev. She's always gone before Joss and I wake up and then her volleyball keeps her out pretty late in the evenings. It's a shame we weren't here a couple weeks sooner while she had some free time in the summer. We're trying to catch up on some old childhood favorites (movies) before I head out... so we'll see how far we get :)
Joss loves his Aunt Bev... there's no doubt about that. He gets excited whenever she's around!! He usually always wakes up (at least once) in the evenings to give her a little lovin'!

Grammy is sure enjoying her lunch breaks with Joss-- we try to make sure he's going to be awake and not napping whenever she comes. He usually wakes up just in time to give her some TLC.

Joss has fun hanging out with Kevin a lot too. I think Joss likes being able to brag that he can spike his hair :)
Bev dressed up for "Mismatch Day" at school for their football game and this is what she wore. LOL-- she said her students didn't even notice until she pointed it out!! We were proud of her effort to show school spirit!
Joss and me
Boys will be boys-- they are ALL into the tv. We enjoyed seeing Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Heather this past weekend. After traveling all over the world, they still made time to see us during their visit with Heather's family-- THANK YOU! It was great seeing you guys.
They brought Joss this really cool souvenir back from China. Heather had very specific criteria for our gifts... and she did a wonderful job picking them out. I got a really pretty pearl bracelet (my first set of real pearls)!!! Dallas got a cool Olympic hat, and Joss got the coolest stamp. It has "Knowles" etched in it in English and Mandarin with a little turtle on top :) Joss has already tested it out (by chewin on it) and given it his approval! What a cool keepsake for such a special trip.
Lately Joss has been all over the place. He's not content to just sit still and play--he wants to be everywhere all at once. He still hasn't mastered crawling on his knees...but that hasn't held him back at all. Mom and I were playing with him last night and we got to laughing so hard a couple of times at the way he would pivot or pull himself up. He is so entertaining. The whole time he's crawling he's grunting and breathing really hard and making the sweetest little noises. He definitely wears himself out pretty quickly!

Now you see him.....

Now you don't!! :)

As you can see we have our fun moments up here at Bev's :) Dallas and I are doing a lot of work (mostly computer) to get ready for our business take-over. We have 8 weeks until we head down to Exuma. CRAZY!!! I am a ball of emotions right now, and I'm trying so hard to turn my anxiety and fears over to the Lord. For some reason that proves to be a constant struggle for me. But anyway--hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Until next time~

LOL-- I can see how you would. I was looking at some old emails the other day and came across some pictures of an ity bity Lydia... I can't believe how fast they grow. I get sad already looking at newborn clothes. :)
