We've had some big events happening around here lately! On top of the fact that we are down to our last week and a half here at Bev's, there's been some other crazy stuff going on. For starters... Bev got a TATTOO! Yep-- you heard me right. She's always talked about getting a Nike swoosh on her lower back... I guess all of us saying "Yeah, right... you're not going to get one!" gave her the boost she needed to prove us wrong. She let me and Kevin go with her as designated photographer, moral support and to make sure things got done right. Good thing Kevin was there for sure. He noticed that the temporary swoosh was on backwards. When Bev looked in the mirror it looked correct... and I wasn't even paying any attention to that!! Good catch Kevin!
Joss has been my little helper around the house. I've had boxes coming in like crazy with stuff we're getting stocked up on for Exuma. He's helping me make sure everything is acceptable :)
Whenever he's crawling around, he'll stop here and there and lay his head down on the floor for just a second and then he's good to go again! I finally was able to get a pic of him. It's just for a few seconds at a time. But it's so sweet when he does it.
Grammy CC sat out and played in the yard with him the other day, and he was having fun making it "snow"! They had it all over them :)
There was a couple bonfires this weekend with our family and friends, so I decided to make some cookies for it. They still aren't as pretty as Bethany and her mom's, but they tasted pretty good if I may say so!

Joss liked helping me in the kitchen while I was working on the cookies. He found the cabinet that was safe for him to play in...
Saturday night we had a bonfire, hayride and party at some of our friends house. It was nice and chilly outside, but Joss was bundled up and ready for the fun!

He wasn't so sure about this thing. As long as we were holding him in there he was okay, but he didn't want to get down on his own any. The sound of the air spooked him I think.

Sunday night my aunt and uncle threw a little bonvoyage bonfire for us since this would be the last weekend Dallas was in town. We got some family photos that I'll try to post later. It was so nice just hanging out with everyone outside around the fire and just enjoying each other's company! We sure are going to miss everyone here in Bama!!! We love you all very much.

Joss and I have more boxes to pack (the truck comes tomorrow to take them to the Bahamas), so I need to run for now, but I'll be back soon with some more updates!

Your cookies look great!!
Those cookies look pretty good to me.
Wish I'd be around to see you off to Exuma. We'll be looking to hear from you when you arrive too.
Awe, another ending. I still miss Auburn. You guys are going to have so much fun with your own business though. I'm jealous! You're boy is getting so big!
We have some of those same cookie cutters and I just frosted the cookies tonight! But yours turned out way cuter than mine. :) What big blue eyes Joss has! Sweet tattoo, Bev! And I LOVE the picture of Joss and Grandma! That's adorable. :)
(the first one where they are making "snow") :)
