Yeah, so I know that Christmas and New Year's have come and gone (my holiday letter and picture is still coming by the way) :) Just thought I'd do a brief rundown and of course add some more pics of little man. The shot above was him on the plane on the way to Bama. He LOVED take off and landing. He would stare out the window for minutes at a time... which is a long time for him to be still :)

We had a wonderful Christmas in Alabama with Grammy, Poppy, Bev and Kevin. It was a very enjoyable and memorable day. Joss learned to say "Ho Ho Ho" while we were there... and it was so cute... he would pucker his little lips in such a cute way and make a "whoa whoa whoa" sound. It was very sweet!!

A Weaver family tradition is to get new pajamas on Christmas Eve and sleep in them that night (mom always washes them before and they smell nice and clean for us) and have our new PJ's on for Christmas morning. I don't think we ever managed to get a picture with everyone in their new PJ's, but here is Joss' cute little set:
An old classic holiday album my family listened to was the "Alabama Christmas" and there's a song on it called "Christmas in Dixie"---- always makes my heart feel special this time of year, but it was very special this year! Every time I heard it, I got the warm fuzzy feeling inside that Christmas brings because we were actually having Christmas in Dixie...just wish there had been "snow in the pines" :)
Bev took a lot of the pictures from Christmas on her nice camera, so I don't have a lot of those with me to post just yet. I'll put them on Phanfare once I get my hands on them :) She got some great shots! One of my favorites that I got is this little one with the bow-- he makes a WONDERFUL present every year!
The hardest part about Christmas was having to leave early (early) on the morning of the 26th in order to get back here for trips going out. It was a long day of travelling, but it went really smooth considering all the luggage we were bringing back.
I've been playing with my new camera (Thanks Mom, Dad & Bev-- I love it!!) a lot lately trying to figure out settings and things. It's got this really cool "burst" feature that takes lots of pics really quickly. Which looks like a little flipbook when your looking at them together, but you get a few fun shots in the mix that are pretty fun. Dallas and O'Neil were letting me try it out on them.

New Years was spent playing Rock Band 2 and Halo 3 on the "X-Bob" (Heather's new nickname for X-Box-LOL) with a bunch of the kids around here. Joss slept right through the comotion :) We had volume control of course, but he was still great! Thanks to my folks, Dallas has finally got his replacement Rock Band to play with, and we've all been pretty hooked on that lately. Here's Joss' way of getting in on the action (when he's not dancing to it that is)...

We've started the New Year off by getting out on the water and enjoying the beautiful weather the past couple days. Joss has done amazing out on the boat and really loves being in the water.
Daddy let's him "drive" and he really likes that!
He wasn't so sure about the water that we weren't touching in, but he warmed up to it quickly. While he was in the boat I had to keep a close eye on what he tried to toss overboard :)
This will give you a little idea of what kind of weather we had the other day... that reef is about a foot under the water, but the view you're looking at is through a cut that heads out to the ocean (we're inside the protected harbor), and usually there are big waves breaking through this cut, and they wave you see there was from our boat :) --- We only get a handful of flat calm days like this a year, but when they come-- they are amazing!
Little man likes walking on the sand...
He's preparing to take off here :)
Do you guys remember the children's book "The Story About Ping"? Joss makes me think of that book whenever he puts his arms back like this and walks around :) It makes me laugh!
I've got a few more cute stories of things he's doing now that I will share soon! Hope you've enjoyed this.
