You can see how calm it was this day-- Joss had a lot of fun floating and playing in the sand.
This past weekend we made a trip to Nassau. Jeremy and Heather flew in and were there for a night before heading to the cays on D's boat with a group of friends and Andy and Nancy. We went to see them and then so Dallas could help with the swim club a little while Andy and Nancy were gone. It was a nice little break, and gave Joss' room a chance to dry (I'll post these pics soon) :) We also got to meet Erin, Elliott's girlfriend.
It's always hard being away from our home now because Joss usually has a hard time adjusting to sleeping and things like that in his new locations. This time was no different. Unfortunately, we had a "first" that I hope and pray was also a last. We were using a different crib and it was a little older style than his at home. I was a little concerned about the height we had the mattress at, but I figured he would just go to sleep because he was pretty tired. Well, I was wrong. Seems he notice the difference too, and thought he could climb up and out.... :( And he did... but his landing was not very graceful. He has a nice big bruise on his head now thanks to that fall. Ugh, I felt like the worst mom in the world to let that happen. I cried like a baby myself. I know there will be plenty of bumps and bruises (there's already been a ton), but this one really scared me because of the "what ifs" and "could haves" that kept running through my mind.
Dallas knew I was really upset and the three of us just laid down together all snuggled up and took a nap as a family. It was really sweet, and Joss seems to be doing fine now. NO MORE FALLING OUT OF THE CRIB THOUGH!
We're back home now and getting ready for AUNT BEV to visit... YAY!!! We're so excited to see her. Christmas seems like forever ago. I'm sure we'll have some fun pics and stories to post after a week with her :)

I love the pictures and his "new" rash guard - USA!!! I'm so thankful he wasn't hurt and I know the sick feeling it gives you when something like that happens. Continue to shower him with love and prayers...

Ugh, following out of the crib is so scary! Especially since one of my kids broke her arm that way! We got a new crib for this baby and it's not as high up off the ground, so if the baby climbs out he won't have as far to fall. Adorable pictures as always. I love the hunchback walk. :) How is your pregnancy?
