Lots of Haps Part 2

So, we have had a few more "haps" . On December 4th (Bev's B-day), Emit's 3 month marker, he rolled over for the very first time :) I went in to get Joss up from his nap and had Emit with me. I laid the little guy down on his tummy on the big bed in their room (right in the middle), and then I was talking and cutting up with Joss. Next thing I know I look around and hear him grunting and rolling over to his side. I went and ran and got the camera (Joss was still in his crib) and was able to catch it on video :) The best thing about it is that Joss and Emit are both wearing only a diaper when they rolled over on video (here's Joss' ).

Last week we had a ball with an old friend of Dallas' from High School. Gna and her husband Dan now live in Alaska, and they were home visiting folks and made their way down to Exuma. We had a great time. Gna and I had only met online prior to this, and Dallas hadn't seen her since high school. I can't speak for them, but we're looking forward to the next reunion :) Great company, lots of fun! I still can't believe the boys slept through all the noise, but they did!

Dallas is having more and more fun with Joss in the water. Joss will come up to him now and say "Up High" and this is what he's asking for. He gets so excited flying through the air. Mommy just can't get him high enough :)

Until the last week or so, Joss has been calling all the black guys "Neil" (referring to our friend O'Neil) and any woman that sits next to him in the back seat is "Iz" (referring to Lyndsay, O'Neil's wife). He's starting to get the idea though. This is Jamier in this pic above.
Joss loves to go down the "Beeg swide" (big slide) in town. The park itself is quite a joke, and this is about the only thing he likes there, but every time we drive by it now he says hi to the slide and wants to go down.
Emit's crib arrived the day he rolled over---impeccable timing! It was a circus to get it down here: step 1, order the crib online and have it shipped to the shipping company
step 2, shipping company ships crib along with other items we ordered
step 3, we find out when the stuff is coming
step 4, go by the shipping office here to pay the shipping bill and get the invoice
step 5, take the invoice to a broker (completely usless step if you ask me)
step 6, pay the broker for a job I could have done and take the papers to customs
step 7, pay customs for the duty and then we get the paperwork needed to pick up our stuff at the shipping yard
step 8, finally get it home and get to assemble it!
Emit is loving it and sleeps really well in it for me. He still isn't sleeping through the night, so I'll try not to hate all of you with little one's his age who are sleeping through the night. We're getting there though. He looks really cute in it :)

Our tree is up and sparkling just the way we like it. Joss likes all the balls on it and tries to knock them every where. Emit catches a glimpse of the lights every now and then and shows a little reaction, but nothing too dramatic.

Enjoying our pool in December :) Not too many can say that. Guess we better enjoy it while we can since we'll be getting the boot soon. I really have a peace about the situation though. I already have a few leads for some potentially awesome houses to rent, so we'll see where we end up.

Dallas is out on his first guided kayak trip of the season. He already treated them with some fresh crawfish at dinner tonight, so he's off to a great start! Hopefully I'll still be sane after a few days flying solo with the boys, but we'll see :) Look at how chubby Emit looks in this pic! LOL

Margot doesn't sleep through the night yet. I think it's tough for them to do it when they're nursed! The milk just digests so quickly in their little bellies.

This is what I tell myself, anyway.

The boys are too adorable for words.

Love you!

Wonderful update and love the new photos of our chubby chin "It!" The crib and bedding are precious surroundings for Emit to enjoy - glad it all finally arrived... God will provide - he always does.

Love, hugs and Christmas Cheer,
