Before I start in on Joss, I will say this about little Emit. He's so close to sitting up. He gets on his knees and hands and bounces his little bottom all over the place trying to figure out the sitting and crawling thing. I went in to get him from his nap yesterday and walked in as he was tumbling forward from his best efforts of sitting up.
"WRONG PUT": Joss like to feel like a big boy and put his shoes on all by himself. He gets very frustrated when he can't get them on, but more times that not he puts them on the wrong foot. When he does (and sometimes I think he does it intentionally) he comes running up saying "Oh NO, wrong put, wrong put" (wrong foot).

"RUN, HORSE, RUN": Lately, Joss has really loved watching Spirit. He gets very excited about the horses running all over the place at the beginning (and when Spirit is a baby horse). He gets all fired up and starts saying "Run, Horse, Run-- GO, GO--Big Run!" Then he points to the remote and wants me to "skip train" (skip to the train part). When the eagle is flying we've taught him to say WAR EAGLE-- of course it comes out something like "aww eadle", but it's so cute :)
"BOTTOM HOURT": Joss has always gotten diaper rashes really easily--I'm a firm believer with the Butt-Paste cream it's the only one that works. Well he can now give me a little heads up when it's coming because he'll say "Bottom hourt" if his Bottom Hurts. It breaks my heart, but it is so nice for him to tell me what is bothering him instead of playing the guessing game.
"WHOA, WOOK AT ALL THE...": This one is "Whoa, Look at all the..." trains, cars, buses, turtles, anything that he sees more than one of gets this enthusiastic reaction.
"STRAW-MERRIES": Well, for this one you can just watch the video below :)
"ELVES & SANTA": Remember how I've mentioned he discovered Polar Express shortly after Christmas-- well it's March and he still loves watching "Big Train", but he's taken it to another level even :) On our dive out to Barratarre (where we go to launch our trips & rentals) we pass this big red cylinder gas tank and Joss calls it "Santa" now because it looks like the big bag on the movie. Miles away from it he'll start saying "Where Santa?" and "Mere Santa" (Come here Santa). He also has said his first movie quote...randomly he'll blurt out "E L V E S" like the kid on the movie. It's pretty funny.

"A BOWL": He loves his big boy bowls. Everything he gets to eat he wants it "in A BOWL" or else he won't even try it. Unless of course it's his little board books-- he'll chew on those things like crazy.
"TRAY-WAY/BEEG BOAT": Whenever we get in the truck he starts asking for us to "pull the tray-way or beeg boat" (trailer or big boat). He gets pretty disappointed if we're just driving the truck no strings attached. It works a little if we're going to pick up the "beeg boat" or the "tray-way", but he still likes it much better when we have one from the start.

"NAKE": We see little garden snakes from time to time when we're walking around out here and Joss LOVES it. So everytime we go out and about he starts calling them. "NAKE, nake, 'mere nake!" And today we were playing around and said "sssssssssssssnnake" in a snakey whisper voice and he's trying to do that now too.
"NO RIGHT/TAY": If something scares him he'll say "NO TAY" in response to me telling him "It's Okay". And when we're walking and the neighborhood dogs start barking I usually say "It's okay dogs" or "It's alright dogs" to try to get them to calm down. So now when they bark, he'll say "No right dogs"-- Have I mentioned that I just love this little guy and all the little ways he tries to mimic us. It's such a fun stage!

These are adorable and it's amazing how well he communicates with you! I'm not sure I want to be looking for "Nakes", but I have to remember he's a boy and they love those kind of things! Emit's expressions are precious and a sign that he's ready to tackle "everything" Joss is attempting... 9 more days and I will be listening to EVERY word with great pride!!!
Hugs and kisses, Sheshhh
Counting down the minutes until I see you guys! The boys are absolutely precious. I can't wait to make some new sticky notes! love Ya!
You taught him "War Eagle"?!?! Now, because you're a non-biased mom and all, you need to teach him "Roll Tide" :)
Awesome!
