I love finding pretty things to take photos of. Especially now that I have a really good excuse for how to use them. I put the photos in the slide shows with our church music that we use, and it just makes it pretty :) And of course, I love any shots of my handsome little dudes.
We headed up to my mom and dad's place when Bev and Kevin went home from the hospital with Xander. Then we were supposed to go back and help her when Kevin had to head back to work. The three of us managed to get ourselves sick and were pretty out of sorts for a few days. And Bev had to go back in the hospital for her incision, so turned out that my dad went to help out with the dogs and daily duties for the first few days while the boys and kicked our colds and got some TLC from CC.
Obviously, it takes a lot to really slow these guys down. But we were most definitely running at half speed with our colds.
I love how much time these guys like to spend outside. Some days, we hit a peek where I know we absolutely have to get outside and run around for a bit or everything is going to be utter chaos. However, MOST days the boys start asking to go outside well before we hit that peek. I can feel the difference myself when I don't get outside as much during a day too. We like our fresh air, that's for sure :)
One day while we were up at my parent's we headed over to spend the morning at my Aunt Debra & Uncle Tommy's farm. Let's see they had a....
school bus to play inside of, run up and down the isle in and honk the horn!
A PUPPY to chase around and play with.
Horses to ride on and walk!!
A "poo poo pile" to play in! Timeout here for a sec from the list of things to play with...LOL, they had no clue that this was a pile of horse manure when they took off running up it using their hands to climb all in it.
But the really funny thing is that when I told them what it was, they wanted to play in it even more. Boys & poo... what's the deal? Now back to the cool things to play with...
A tire swing...
A fun little playground...
"Chay-ways" (Trailers) to run around on (and to pout next to)...
Horses to ride on and cousins to ride with...
Aren't they all cute :) Joss loved all his new 'yittle' buddies.
Joss did not want to get down. He was having so much fun!
Emit preferred to walk the horse while Joss rode up high.
I guess it made him feel like he was a little more in control of things. I just love his expression below.
And the last big toy they got to play with this day... a 'big rig'! They were in little boy heaven running around here that morning.
Joss was pretty excited about the area that was in there for the little bed. Emit was just too overjoyed to speak or do much else at this point I believe....it was just TOO COOL for this little guy :)
I'm pretty sure they will want to go back and play here when we're back up that way :) Aunt Debra, Uncle Tommy...thank you for a fun little morning for my fellas!

It sure looks like everyone had fun on the farm! I have fond memories playing their as a child myself. I especially love the pics with the horse. They look so cute! Love you bunches!
Just catching up on all the new posts. This place definitely looks like little boy heaven!!! The picture of the 5 little ones on the horse is so cute! And I love the one of Emit walking the horse while Joss is riding. Loved your summaries of your trip to Bama. It exhausts me just reading about all the fun and travel. You must secretly hook yourself up to an IV of caffeine every morning, right? ;) That can be the only explanation for how much energy you are able to sustain, I don't know how you do it!! :)
This blog has a little bit of everything to make a boys world complete... I love the fact that they were climbing in a pile of manure and DID NOT care one bit!!! The "yittle" ones on the horse is precious...I have a similar shot with my brothers grandchildren except they were in the wagon and Gator! It truly blesses me to see them having so much fun and finding adventure in ALL things. You keep taking picture of Godly creations ~ they are gorgeous reminders ;0)
