These little guys have enjoyed having more hair these days :) It's always a challenge to get the right 'cut'.
So Dallas and I had the idea this day to do a competition. We thought we could take some before and afters and then see who did the best one. We THOUGHT it would offer the boys a little incentive to sit still longer and cooperate with us a little more. Well, Emit did a great job. Joss...not so much. We had a slight melt down half way through his cut, so we never even got an after for him. Emit was declared the winner for this one :)
Glow sticks in the tub has become quite the regular routine around here. They love playing with them in the empty shampoo bottles and watching them glow in the dark. And yes, that is one black line around the tub, but I don't know how to get rid of it.
Our friend Chris O. came down back in January to help me get some stuff sorted out with our website and then also to help 'Santa' and bring down a few of our Christmas goodies. Hopefully it wasn't too difficult on him to escape the colder temps and come stay with us for a few days ;) See, sometimes being friends with us pays off (wink wink) and in airfare at that!
We headed down one afternoon while he was here to see our turtle friends and see if we could get a sneak peak at the little sharks that had been around. No luck on the sharks... just the turtles :)
Chris playing with the turtle from the dock. It was a little cooler weather, so we were okay to interact above the water....
The boys had a blast jumping off the dock. I don't know how they weren't getting cold, but even if they were that didn't stop them.
November and December were the start of our new 2012-13 Season with work. And boy did it kick off with a bang.
I always feel like once Thanksgiving sneaks up on me I play 'Catch-Up' until about Easter. So far, I'm par for the course :)

Joss had an idea that he wanted to run by Chris here below. A new way of going off the dock into the water...
Looks like Chris didn't have to be persuaded too much to appease the boys.
They keep mixing it up.. you can't just jump straight all the time.
BROTHERS :)
Joss is helping Emit with his technique...
Emit is my little free bird though, he just can't control what his little body does.
I was trying to get them to wait for the count to jump in at the same time.... that in itself was quite the thrill.
But the actual jump was a hit too :)
What a fun and refreshing December afternoon!

I love all of these pictures. I talked out loud to each one... "oh I love that!" "oh my goodness, so sweet!!" "ahhh!! precious!!"
Love them! Great job!
Gotta get use to the boys with hair after so many "buzz" shots! They look cute and very much like little men with their new looks :0)
Always fun to see them being BOYS when it comes to having fun!!!
Hang in there Mommy...it does appear you are outnumbered ;0)
Hugs for all...
