CC's Back!!

Back in May my mom came for a visit, and this is one trip I will never forget. Immediately following this trip is when everything changed. We'll get to that.
She brought down some bedding I ordered for the boys' bed. I've been anxious to get things more coordinated in their room, but I believe it will be like the rest of my house... a constant project :) I still have a ton of things I want to add under their bed, but I also want to keep track of the stages it goes through!
The boys had fun showing CC their dice game that we made.
We headed over to help Dallas install some things over at February Point one afternoon. It's a very exclusive and high end gated community on the island. I read a recent article in the newspaper with plans for this community, and I'd like to see some of the stuff happen as long as locals are welcome to enjoy the area as well.
When you tell people that you live on a small island in the Bahamas, this is the image (or similar) that most people have of your living arrangement.
Not that I am ashamed of our rental, but it definitely isn't like this! I just wish places like these were available for the locals to enjoy too.
After our chores were finished, we continued on with the boys and our bikes to the old airport runway.
We've been talking about doing this for a long time. At the end of the runway is a garbage dump, so Dallas went to dump some trash and we rode down the mile stretch of the old runway. The boys did AWESOME!
CC did too :)
This part had us cracking up. Joss thought it would be a good idea to try to ride through the pot hole. He thought it was just a puddle... when he kind of flew off his bike he realized quickly it wasn't a little puddle to splash through. He didn't get hurt though, but he did look a little funny flopping over his handlebars.
Bless this old truck! We've got a popeye (which has been fixed btw), crooked license plate, doors you open from the outside, seats that are falling apart, rust spots, and all sorts of fun little 'twearks'.
No worries for me getting lost!
Our Biker Gang!
Joss, CC & I rode back the other way too, but poor little Emit was a little worn out from his pedal so he wanted to jump in the truck with Daddy for the last leg.
Joss felt like a really big boy being our leader.
Daughter & Mom Fun!
After our hot bike ride, what better treat than ICE CREAM! I don't think any of us were complaining over the yummy, cold treat at this point.
These are terribly blurry, but I had to add my dirty little dues anyway.
YUMMY!!! Ice Cream treats :)
