Shortly after Emit's 4th birthday he decided he was ready to ride his bike without the training wheels. It took him a little longer to get the hang of it, but he has done phenomenal! He loves the independence and the chance to show-off.
My two little fellas wanted to go attempt surfing one Sunday after church, and the Twins, Mazy & Tazy, decided they wanted to go surfing too :)
We gave it our best attempt, but it was mainly just some glorified boogie boarding. Still a fun November afternoon though. Yep, this was in November 2013...I'm getting closer to the New Year finally!
These two brothers are very dear to us. Tazy, in the blue shorts, has been working with us for almost a year now. Accepted the Lord as His Savior during one of the church services we had next door and has made a place in our hearts.
After some fresh haircuts we headed down to our beach one afternoon to work on a special Christmas-On-The-Island-Treat...

They also had recently found this really awesome ship in a pile of garbage near the fish-fry. We decided to name it the "JEmitoss" after the two co-captains.
Talk about a Trash-to-Treasure find!
