Boy Fun

Joss got this cool new camera for his birthday this year. He really loves it, but it's made for kids so it has lots of fun features on it. But they will sit for a long time making silly videos and then replaying them back. I know I've got some interesting footage in store for me when I get a chance to go through it all. :)

On my birthday, I went for a walk down to the beach that morning to do my devotion (I wish that happened more often). As I was sitting on the dock, I caught site of this dolphin swimming out of our cove. I couldn't help but feel like God was giving me a Birthday Present :)
The boys love finding critters, like this jumbo ghost crab to put in the tanks. We're hoping to turn one of these into a saltwater tank someday, but we took the tanks when we had the chance knowing it might be a while before we can use them like we want. Hard to pass up FREE tanks!
Dallas setting out on a trip, and getting some farewell hugs to send him off.
Another fantastic trip for the books!
Meanwhile back home...
We continue to PLAY!
This is the best way for me to pass the days when it's only me at home. They always sleep well after some time at the beach too!
My little monkeys helping me at work.
I went to pick up some boats that some renters were returning. I forget how I managed to be here without the guests, but somehow it was me, and the boys, and I had to get the boats from the beach (in the top row of pics below) up the ledge and on top of the truck. By MySELF! Usually there are guys around that I can give a couple dollars to to help me with stuff like this, but of course no one was there. And the few people I did see were really old guys, and I didn't have the heart to ask them for help. So, I managed to get the boats up to the truck, then with some rope, I make a little pulley system to help me pull that double on top of the truck. The singles I can manage, it isn't easy, but it is doable. That double was a beast though. I was proud of myself, and had to take pictures as proof ;)
These last ones are just a few random phone pics I found!

I imagine the pictures on their camera will be fun to see! How cute that they both surf at the same time, that's TALENT... The scenic snapshots are breathtaking, until I read how you are lifting HEAVY equipment alone! Be careful, your back isn't suppose to be doing such manual labor by yourself.

I love the pics of the boys on the surf board. You can totally see how much fun they were having. Dang Sis you are a beast loading that truck by yourself. Guns!!!
