Silly...Sandy...Skiing

These first few sets are photos from the boys' camera.
Emit was SO very proud of his palm tree picture above that he got while we were driving down the road :)
It'll be fun to see how these change over the years! They get so silly when they pull out their camera, and more times than not clam up when I ask them to do something for me when I pull mine out. Figures ;)
Next up we have a super fun collection of TICKLE TIME from Daddy! They LOVE it when Daddy tickles them, because he doesn't stop until he makes someone poot ;)
I think it is clear to see they are loving the tickle torture. I don't handle being tickled well... it drives me crazy when you're to the point where you think "This is it. I'm going to die laughing to death so I better enjoy it!" They on the other hand just ask for MORE!!!!!
We rediscovered the sandbar this year. It had been too long since we had come out here. We used to come all the time and then we just sort of forgot about it. I don't know how because I feel like I saw it for the first time this year each time we visited it... truly spectacular!
There is always something to find in the sand and tide pools. We try to see how many starfish we can rescue and return to deeper areas that still have water.
This one's for me below, but I'll share because he's just too cute not to :) :) :) He can grin at me like that ANY DAY!!!! Love you Handsome Stud!
Joss finding some sand dollars that are still alive. We are very careful walking around out here. You'll notice some folks kite-boarding below... after I finish my scuba certification, I might give that a try ;) Looks so fun!
After the sandbank it was time to hit the skis. Joss was 'skiing' while I pulled him through the water above... not quite the same though.
Joss wanted to wear Daddy's camera while he skied. It squishes his face all funky here, but he didn't seem to mind.
Once again, they both made it look so easy! Joss was very proud, Dallas was very tired :)
Tazy got his turn and then helped his friend Jodi give it a go! Look closely, you'll see his hands up in the air cheering her on once she got up. Joss & Emit taking turns with Joss' camera. Notice Emit's pout while Joss gets his turn.
Skiing with a camera was no sweat after skiing with a kid, but it did mean only one hand the whole time. I got my turn too, but there are no pictures to prove it so you'll just have to trust me.
After skiing we buried folks in the sand, and enjoyed the closing of another fabulous day spent exploring the harbour! I may change my tune after 20 years or so, but these kind of days just don't get old. God's Nature is always such a blessing!!!
