He got to go on his first four-wheeler ride the other day with my Uncle Christopher. He was happy and just checking things out and then on the way back up the driveway he started crying right before he got back to us. I'm not sure if he was just realizing that I wasn't the one sitting behind him.. or if it was something else :) I took him for a short ride after that and he did really well. I have a feeling this little guy would be just as "country" as his cousin Dalton if we gave him half a chance. That boy is all about bulldozers, dump trucks, dirt, dirt and more dirt :) But I guess that's all boys!!
Here we are with my Papa going for another short ride! "Riding in style on this fancy one!" :)
Like I said, he LOVES to go outside... and when we're inside... of course he wants to be out there :) Bev's got a great door so he can still see out when he's inside.
Bev is soooo grossed out by mice, rats, frogs, anything at all creepy crawly.... but this story has to do with mice (yes... it's plural). She was in her office at their old country school the other day and a little mouse (ONE) went scurrying across her floor. Of course, she freaked out! But the little guy didn't go running out the door like she hoped it would. It ran toward the door, and then doubled back and ran toward the OLD (probably before she was born) couch in her office.
At this point.. she had called some backup in her office to help get rid of this little critter. While they were searching for the one mouse in her couch... they heard what sounded like a bunch of little ones. Turns out there was a whole nest of mice inside her couch in her office. SHE WAS FREAKED! I can't say that I wouldn't have been too. She gave instructions to take the couch out and dump it, burn it... never bring it back in there. AHHHHHH Just makes ya feel like they are crawling on ya doesn't it! Poor Bev!!! :)
Joss and I are down in Auburn right now visiting with some friends and hanging out with Daddy. Dallas only has 2 more weeks down here-- crazy!!! Joss was so excited to see him the other day at work. He got so sad when Dallas had to go take care of someone and he handed him back to me... made Dallas feel pretty good that his little man wanted him.
We'll post more a little later, hopefully I'll get back to shorter more regular posts soon.. things are just pretty crazy right now. Love you all!

Man, I can't imagine sitting on a couch with mice nesting in it. Eww! But could be lots of fun. We had a couple of mice in our apartment kitchen when i was in Chile, so we brought in street cats to try and kill em. Needless to say they messed up our kitchen.
Hope ya'll are well. I'm sure these next few months are going to be exciting for you down in the Bahamas starting your business. Sounds like fun!
Oh my gosh. I would die. Ick! That's so gross! Mice are nasty. Cute pictures, by the way! :)
