He likes getting in the pool too, but we've only been getting in on the top step and getting our feet wet the past couple days. He's figured out how to climb in and out of the pool though (while I'm holding on to him of course) and he just does that the whole time. He got a kick out of putting my shoe in and out today.
Yesterday I got to enjoy one of my favorite things on the island :) Four Seasons Spa-- WONDERFUL!!! I love getting massages, and this place is a 5 star resort and you get pampered like crazy while you are there. I walked through the doors to the women's side of the spa and I almost wanted to cry I was so happy! I love Joss so much, but my back aches all the time now toting him around(totally worth it though)...but he just gives me a great excuse to get a massage more frequently! I went about an hour and a half before my treatment and just spent time in the steam room, hot tub, pool and their "relaxation room". It was VERY nice! Anyone that comes down here and wants to go-- I will happily go with you. If you've never had one before-- this would be the time to try! Joss got to hang out with Daddy for the afternoon and help him take people back and forth to town. He was a good sport!
This morning we all got up and went down to a nice beach just down the road. It was a nice way to start the day off. Joss had fun riding on Daddy's shoulders :) Again, he was so excited around the water! (As if you can't tell from the picture above)
It's actually been really pleasant down here this past week (weather wise). The water has been really rough on our kayakers, but the wind has been wonderful. It's given us some enjoyable "Fall" weather. We got a huge kick out of our friend Gna's blog the other day. She and her husband live in Alaska and she was talking about a weather report and they guy saying it wasn't going to be too bad (and the forecast showed every day below zero... but only by a few degrees instead of like -22 or something crazy like that). And Dallas had just heard a forecast on the station down here and the guy was like "We're in for another chilly night tonight with a low around 62!" LOL-- we got a huge kick out of that. It's funny to see the locals all bundled up and wearing sweaters in this "cool" weather :) HA!!
I hope those of you that have wanted to check out the videos and pics on Phanfare have been able to get on. Please let me know if you can't access it.
Take care everyone, hope you have a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving week! Love & Hugs!!
