We took a quick overnight trip to Nassau this past Thursday so we could get an ultrasound to find out the Baby's due date (and to get a fast food fix)! We were a little relieved to find out that I was about where we had originally thought instead of further along. I wouldn't usually wish myself to be pregnant "longer", but I feel much more relaxed now that we have an idea of when Baby 2 is coming...September 3rd is the magic day.
It will be pretty nice having a birthday that time of year (around Uncle Jeremy's) instead of December and January which is when me, Dallas, Joss, my mom, my dad and my sister all have ours. It's a crazy time of year!
Our whirlwind trip to Nassau left us all feeling a little tuckered out when we got back home... Joss was happy to be back with Hippo and his bear :) (SO SWEET)
So, we were up early yesterday (as usually) and we got a call from Grammy (in Alabama) saying it was SNOWING-- I've already seen a ton of picks from everyone online showing the pretty snow in Bama, so I thought I'd show you how we spent our "Snow Day"!!!

Dallas was having fun getting out in the Sea Pearl (sailboat) and showing us what all he could do!
This was our mode of transportation!!! I LOVE THESE LITTLE BOATS! Sailing will quickly become a favorite hobby of mine. There are a ton of sailboats out in the harbor right now. The cruisers regatta starts this week. There are probably about 150 or more boats in the harbor right now whch makes it feel like a city over there. In the summer there might be about 10 or so. It was so much fun going up and down the harbor in this little boat. We got some great reactions from folks. Partly because these little boats are kind of like a little classic car, but also because Joss was the cutest sailor around-- of course!
He loved playing with the bilge pump or the lines or anything like that that made him feel like he was helping out. He always does so well in the boats.
I was having a great time learning the ropes. When can we have another "snow day"?? We don't get out much just the three of us, and it was a PERFECT way to spend the day!
