Summertime fun

We are wrapping up a week of fun with Chris and Laura (friends from Auburn). They didn't get so lucky on the weather (or flights home for that matter). They are still here actually. They were supposed to fly out on Thursday and the flight was cancelled for plane technical problems. So the airline put them up in one of the nice hotels down here (which was not SO bad...at least not if you get stuck here). However yesterday the weather kept them grounded. So, we'll see if they get to go home this morning. I wish we had better weather for them to enjoy, but maybe next time! HA HA-- we LOVE this picture--- it took a few tries, but we got it!! He loves flying with Daddy... but he was in a super happy mood this day. Just take a look at this video clip of him having fun!

We're in the middle of a half power outtage right now :) (meaning half our power is on.. and half is off). We got some MUCH needed rain yesterday though, so that was nice. But I JUST got a call from Dallas and apparently our much needed rain delivered us a very unpleasant surprise by sinking our boat while it was in the water so he could fix the trailer...THANKS!!! This is not good at all. I pray somehow, someway that this will sort itself out and we will figure out what to do now.

Well on that happy note, I'm going to see if my computer will let me post this... it hasn't been very nice to me lately.
