In the beginning
The night we got engagedOn Thursday, May 28th, Dallas and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary! It's really hard to believe it's been 5 years already, but it also feels like I've already shared a lifetime of memories with him too.

Wonderful Alaskan Honeymoon!Dallas and I had a fun little story (at least we thought it was fun). If you haven't heard it, and would like to... just let me know. Basically, Dallas stole my heart from the guy I was dating at the time, and it's been perfect ever since.

Sure, we've had hard things to go through like everyone else... but we've never doubted that we were meant for each other. It's such a blessing to know that I am married to my best friend in the whole wide world.

The best Christmas ever!! (Dec 2007)I would never be able to live so far from my family if Dallas wasn't the husband and friend to me that he is. He fills in the gaps that are empty. (Thanks my love!!)
AU Family! October 2008
To celebrate, we loaded up a kayak and headed out across the harbor for the day. We paddled to our own little beach cove on Stocking Island and had a wonderful day! Joss sat up front with me "paddled" like a pro. He was so funny with the paddle. If I took a break and let him play with it for a second... he wouldn't want my hands anywhere on the thing. He would gently take them off and do it himself :) If he wasn't helping me paddle, he was letting his hand glide through the water next to us. He really did great!

Dallas packed a great little setup for us and we took a nice little lunch. Overall... it was a perfect way to spend the day. I truly am blessed to have such a sweet little family (with even more love on the way)!
