This week Dallas has had a huge project--he's been sanding down the Mako and he has just started to paint it. We're hoping to sell it next week so we can get the engines for our "new" boat--- I'll put some more stuff up about this soon-- we're very excited!
-When he's playing with his toys and Emit tries to play with him and doesn' quite play the "right" way Joss starts saying "Hey, Sop it Emit" (Stop it Emit). If Emit doesn't "Sop" right away Joss starts getting worked up and starts jumping up and down saying it over and over and faster :) It's so funny, but we're working on sharing right now too.
-He has started singing a lot of his little songs lately. He can sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" from beginning to end (so sweet). He knows about 2/3 of the alphabet (he skips the middle around L thru P everytime). He sings and dances to his "Mighty Machines" show. We're working on "Jesus Loves Me".
-He goes out to find lizards almost everyday. He'll go out in the yard and start saying "here izard, izard....'ome out..play you" (Here, Lizard, Lizard. Come out so I can play with you!') The other day Dallas was playing with one with him and the lizard broke his tail off so he could get away. Well Joss was still quite happy to play with the tail (eeeeeewwwwwwww-- I know). He kept throwing it down and acting like he was catching it again. Shortly after this he learned the word "Gross" from me!
-CC & Poppy are working on a playground at their place for the boys to have when we go and visit. The other day on Skype they showed Joss a picture of the slide and set they were building. Lately he hasn't wanted to play on any slides except "That Green Slide". And when I told him we will get to play on that one when we go on the airplane and fly over there soon he started telling me "fly blue plane to THAT green slide". He very excited about his surprise :)
This is why little boys can't run around naked for too long :) and then they start playing with it. Luckily Emit's skin is starting to clear up and is almost all better. He seems to be feeling much better too.
That's all for now...we're excited to see some of you very soon :) Island Fever is setting in and we're looking forward to our time off the rock!

That is QUITE the impressive toss! :) We are taking a potty training break with Valery. I think I will try one week every month this summer to see if she warms up to the idea better without constant pressure. :)
Lydia does the same thing, insisting that Valery play a CERTAIN way with her. I always hear "No, Valery! You 'posed to do THIS!" Let me know if you figure out a way to get around this aspect of sibling bossiness. :)
I love the cove you spent Mother's Day at - very pretty!!!
The "toss" will keep me pouring prayers to God for His protection on the boys...
The lizard "tails" are gross and very funny :0)
So happy to hear Emit is feeling better and enjoys the teething cookies - nice messy boy!!!
Can't wait to have you all home for a long visit - 16 days remaining:0)
Love to all
I can't even tell you how much I laughed when I saw the last picture of Emit. That is the greatest picture ...I can think of so many funny captions that would make an awesome postcard.
Excited to hear more about the new boat...you guys deserve it:)
