Water World- Part 3

I know I've been a little m.i.a. on the blog lately! Sorry CC :) I'm still playing catch-up here from the fun we had with Jeremy & Heather and little man, Mason. As you can see there was lots of fun to be had!
Yes, Joss is carrying around a rubber rat in the photos above (an old prank toy of Daddy's that he got his hands on recently--more to come on these later). And Emit has a nasty little owee on his face from a tumble out of the wagon a few days before this. His poor little face caught the brunt of the fall :(

The daddys were out on their short camping trip with 'the guys' and the mommies were just trying to keep our little guys happily entertained. So what do you do when you go to the beach almost everyday on an island that doesn't have zoos or museums or nice parks or movie theaters or restaurants with playgrounds or malls or any of those kind of places you might be able to take the kiddos to on a 'change-it-up' kind of day?? You just drive 5 minutes down the road to a different beach :) It's pretty cool how just a slight change in scenery can be very exciting for these little guys. There's grass and trees and rocks and snails on this beach that are slightly different from the one they go to daily.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention the tide pools :)  These are a huge hit...just have to be super careful because they are sharp and slippery. Joss and Emit were playing an unofficial game of follow the leader the whole time in this area.
Notice above, Joss clearly wants to be the 'leader' :)
 My little 'Out-Island Explorers' :)
Mason wasn't about to let the 'big boys' have all the fun in the tide pools. He was determined to climb all over them just the same.
Anytime Dallas can get in the water with his dad and brothers...he's one happy man! Some of our friends came down to get in on the Knowles' Brothers Spearing Spectacular :) And yes... they really are that good! I know I'm bragging, but I can't help it. The first time I ever came to the Bahamas I was totally impressed with the water activity and fishing and just general 'island way of life' in this family. I think I was accepted pretty well after I dove my first conch up in about 35 feet of water ;) But seriously, you haven't experienced the Bahamas until you get to see these guys in their 'natural habitat'!
I have tons of videos of these guys really doing their stuff under the water! I'm planning to do a little video montage when I find the time. Always something, right!?
Here are a few shots from the guys "Killin' Spree" camping trip. Any Halo fans out there??? :)
Anytime I'm in the water with my camera... it takes on a whole new experience. There are so many colors, textures, creatures, ripples, lights, all kinds of stuff that catch your eye and make you want to just snap away.
Jeremy & Heather had their underwater casing for their camera too, so we all had fun capturing the trip below the surface too.
I'm so excited to homeschool the 'ocean life' around us when the boys get older. I know I could easily research it now and learn things on my own, but I think it will be much easier when I'm learning it to teach the boys. Somehow, THEN, I think I will be able to find the time to teach myself this stuff when I need to do it for them. There is just sooo much to explore!!!
More coming (a lot sooner this time if all goes well)...

Great moments with cousin Mason - I like how Joss was climbing and being leader!!! Emit seems to always find some critter, this time snails, to be drawn to... Poor baby - his face was really scrapped from his fall :0(
Underwater shots are beautiful - as always...

Love ya all :0)
