Uncle Elliott & Aunt Erin were only here for a short few days, but we had fun while they were around. Usually it is always a large group when they come, so it was very nice to get a simple visit with just them.
Erin sent me a bunch of her photos from this day that turned out really great, and I uploaded them on here, but they are all down at the bottom, so you'll see mine... then hers of the same day. :) Double Dose!!!
The boys were super excited to be out and running around this day at Chat-n-Chill. It was just before the crowd hit around here with all the boaters, so it was still pretty calm over there.
The many expressions of these fellas is always entertaining!
I'm sorry, these guys are way more handsome than me or Dallas were possible of passing on. My heart just melts as I see the little men they are growing into.
Stop the cuteness!!!
Here they were pretending to be fixing food and giving it to me over the counter.
And then they went crazy on me :)
A gorgeous day in Exuma!
Dallas caught a turtle while they were spearing, so we had to get some photos with it. It's a teeny tiny one too.
Say 'TURTLE'!!!
I love this picture of Emit below looking at the fish we've caught. It looks pretty sad as if he's contemplating setting them free.
The construction continues on our new mailboat dock. The 'mighty machines' have been around for a while now working on the dock renovations. While Daddy cleans the boat up after going out, it is the perfect distraction and entertainment as we wait.
We stood on this rock and watched for at least 10 minutes without moving. In Joss & Emit world... That is a really, really long time!
It is pretty funny to hang out around all this stuff because it draws a crowd from other folks in town too. There was a whole bench full of men sitting there watching for over a half and hour the other day. I'm not sure whether or not they were waiting for something, or if they were in fact just sitting there watching the machines. Boys and their toys :)
They are so cute standing side-by-side on their rock.
They got pretty excited to see this BIG dump truck too! I can't imagine how these machines got here on our island...this particular one is ginormous.
Cranes, Diggers and Dozers, OH MY!!!!
This green water here is the area they have filled in. They added the dredged sand to that area here with the beams and they are making this whole area our new dock. It is actually a really great project that we desperately need.
I couldn't help but feel sad for the little fish that got trapped in here :(
Watching daddy clean the fish of the day.
Trying to figure out a good way to hold this big guy.
Can I please point out this genuine smile on Daddy's face of seeing his boys holding up some crawfish? I love it!!!
With Daddy's help, Joss figured out the best way to hold it up.
Now, on to Erin's photos of the trip. THANK YOU SO MUCH for these, Erin.... it's so nice to be in some shots of us doing everyday things--- I do exist :)
Swinging at Chat-n-Chill!
Such happy boys!
They always ask me to push them "Team Umizoomi High" when we're on this
swing. It just means they want me to run under them and swing them super
high, but they have their own name for it :)
The rope swing was about to snap, so I climbed up to do a little on-site repair. It held for a few more weeks at least.
My super-duper climber. I think he may be part monkey :)
My adorable EMIT!!!! look at that sweet smile :)
"Island Boy!"
Elliott jumped in to help Dallas scrub the boat bottom.. time to get it painted again.
Snack time in a tree!
Our lovely sting ray friends...
Emit and a WHOLE bag of Cheetos...
These get all over him, but he was loving them :)
The boys resting with momma while the big boys (Dallas & Elliott) continue to fish. I love this one :)
Turtle time!!
Dallas' big kill!
This was one big crawfish.
I love his grin here and his hair blowing in the wind!
Stealing some loving from my baby.
Watching the digger grab buckets of sand.
Big Tuna :)
Emit watching the turtles from the dock. So sweet :)
Watching the turtles.
They are so cute in their undies :)
R U N!!!!!
Writing his name in the sand.
Goin' Fishin'
Dallas' pride and joy (when it comes to his rods and reels at least).
Erin & Elliott... you gotta come back again, just the two of you :) Thank you for a great visit and for sharing these great pictures. You officially made it on the blog!!!!
I'm 'diving conch' as we say it down here which also means I'm falling asleep while sitting up, so I've got to go to sleep :) More to come, thanks for checking in!!
