Alright, working on catching up today, so hopefully there will be tons of posts by the end of it to get me all caught up, but we'll see. This way dates back to trip right after the New Years! Try to remember this blurry nurse shark picture above...this was Dallas' first trip with his new GoPro Hero 2 camera. We didn't realize he needed a special dive casing for clear underwater pics.
The above water pics turned out great though :)
Osprey Cay, up in the Land & Sea Park
The Osprey that lives on Osprey Cay was playing with Dallas this evening. This picture puts the song "All My Fountains" by Chris Tomlin in my head. It's the image we use for that song in our praise sets with church :)
Well, playing probably isn't the right word, the bird was trying to get Dallas to back off. He was in the 'area' where the nest was, but he wasn't disturbing it.
We had some friends of ours come and help us out this year. They were here for 4 months helping with trips and work. It was so great to have extra hands around. They fly home to Scotland today, and we will definitely miss them!
I love this photo above. That's our powerboat anchored way off the shore, then the Sea Pearls sitting in the little cove on the beach.
Not a bad day for a sail! This family that came on this trip with us was one of the first families that did a guided trip with us when we took over the company.
They brought down more of their family this time and did the Land & Sea Park route. It is so cool to see return business like this.
All lined up for the sunset show :)
I always get jealous when I see shots like this above. Anita is curled up in the boat with a good book while they cruise along with the sailors. That would be me if I were on the trips with Dallas :) My turn will come though, and it will be even better because I'll probably have a little guy snuggled up next to me on either side!
These ridiculously famous swimming pigs! Thank goodness for them... they bring everyone lots of business :)
We've actually had a guy try to put a litter of pigs on one of the islands a lot closer to Great Exuma and he's told us that is a nightmare trying to 'teach them how to swim' :) LOL, I guess only the original swimming pigs have that trait down pat.
Dallas and Chris on a wet ride home!
