Believe it or not, living less than a minute from a gorgeous beach does not guarantee that you will get to go to it every day.
I would love to spend a little time there each day, but sometimes work, school, housework, colder water temps that discourage my boys from wanting to go, or any number of things can make it a challenge to get there each day. PS-- this island at the top here is the same one that was used in the Super Bowl commercial for the Bahamas this year-- Pretty cool :)
The Morton's (next door) invited the boys and me to go surfing with them one Sunday afternoon while Dallas was out working. We gladly accepted the invite to get out of the house for a bit and have a little fun. You can see a little of our fun in these videos. I didn't take a lot of pictures this day, mostly videos, but it was beautiful and a lot of fun!
At this point it had felt like forever since we had taken some time off of working on the shed or something else to just have a little fun, and it was very much welcomed. As you can see from the videos, the boys had a blast and were cute as can be getting up and riding the waves.
Most of these pictures are from one of Dallas' many trips back and forth to Staniel Cay. This one below is the outside of the famous Thunderball Grotto.
This video here shows you how Dallas gets his kicks in there--CrAzY!!! I'm glad my boys weren't there for this one, but I'm sure it is just a matter of time.
Sticky Note: The boys love playing a couple of games on the X-Box. Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Harry Potter and Sonic All-Stars are a few of their favorites. They have a few arcade games on there they like too. One is called Hydro-Thunder... or according to my guys "Hydrose-Funda". And Emit says it with such emphasis on the "Funda". It is too funny to hear them call it out :)
Just another day at work above. Towing kayaks and gear back from Staniel Cay.. this can turn into an all day ordeal if the conditions aren't just right.
Dallas had some buddies interested in doing a Guys Trip a couple of weeks ago. Two of the guys that came (pictured above) were former guests on some of our guided trips. It is always so fun to see who will be returning to do more fishing or spearing. After Dallas meets folks he usually has a few where he says, "Oh yeah, they'll be back!"
Andy, Mike, Joel & Dallas all headed out to the southside for 3 days of spearing, spearing, spearing and camping. Look closely above and you'll see the line of crawfish and fish on the sand. Sorry, I don't have a lot of details for this trip...it was a GUYS thing after all :)
Again, he's got a great little video for this trip :)

Wow, really beautiful "office" you get to work from ;0) Couldn't open all the videos, but the last one was incredible...the catch is CRAZY!!! Can't wait to kiss those Funda lips, he does have a twinkle in his eye when he says certain words...
Kiss-kiss,
CC
