So what kind of work do we do when things slow down??
Well, we head over to a gorgeous beach on Stocking Island on a beautifully sunny day to film a 'How To Rig a Sea Pearl' video. It's hard work... but somebody's gotta do it! :)
The boys don't mind doing this kind of work with mommy and daddy at all!
Joss dig dig digging!
These boats are so beautiful and FUN :)
Daddy working hard to get the right footage to work with.
Not a bad afternoon.
Emit was so jazzed about the little plane that came zooming by.
This is how we are used to hanging out at the beach... EMPTY!!!
I wanted to get a few cute photos of the boys, but Joss wasn't really up for it.
See what I mean...
Emit is pretty much swimming now. He can't go very far, but he can do it when he doesn't let himself get panicked.
Joss wasn't really into the whole picture thing... but Emit was more than willing!
This is my absolute favorite pic of Emit right now! The best part is that there is ZERO editing to it... my little model melts my heart!
Meanwhile, Dallas was taking his video very serious.
The boys were taking their playtime pretty 'serious' too :)
These guys are so silly these days. They love telling each other jokes. The jokes themselves make no sense what so ever, but everything they joke about talks about something eating dirt or getting muddy or stepping in poopy or falling on its bottom or something totally ridiculous, but they think it is the funniest thing in the world. I've recorded a few of their conversations, and just sit and laugh at the way they are laughing at each other. Brothers :)
One of their favorite books right now is Aliens Love Underpants. Partly because we have to check their underpants for aliens at the end of the book each time. I recently got them more books like this called Aliens in Underpants Save the World and Dinosaurs Love Underpants. We're all about big boy pants around here :) It's exciting stuff!
I can't remember if I've put this on here before or not, but one day when we were doing school work there was a picture of pants (you know for things that start with the letter 'p'). When they saw that picture on the page, that was about it for our school work that morning. They got so silly after that and I almost couldn't get their attention back. Boys and PANTS or underpants--LOL!
Joss decided a couple of pictures wouldn't hurt him too badly!
I love these handsome little dudes.
Part of Dallas' video was to set sail and Joss thought he was leaving us. He was crushed at first, "Daddy's never gonna get us!"
Don't worry, we were not left stranded for too long.
Emit rode up here the whole way back. Guess who's at the tiller?? That's right...this gal!!! Whoo Hoo!
If you'd like to see the video....here it is:
