{Happy New Year!!!!} Continuing on with our time in Bama this summer. My Aunt and Uncle invited us to spend a couple of days with them at their lake house a short distance from my parents place. We gladly accepted. During one of these times, my mom was on quarantine and couldn't receive visitors. It was hard not to feel guilty being out on the water enjoying the beautiful weather when CC was locked up in a hospital room, but the extra measures her doctors took seemed to pay off in the end at least.

My boys love playing with my cousins' kids, Dalton, Ava, Tatum and Jake. Dalton is the BIG boy that all the Littles look up to. It was fun to spend some extended time with these kiddos this summer for sure. The fact that they play really well with my boys and don't fight and argue makes it really easy to spend time with them.

My Uncle Christopher took us all out on the pontoon and introduced me to the song. Emit had fun loving on Bella (the dog), Joss took a spin in the tube, and we enjoyed experiencing the typical day on the lake.
Of course, I couldn't let the kids have ALL the fun! There were some fun rocks they jumped off of that I took a turn on, and later a swing, but I didn't get any pictures of the swing... wish I had, because it was my favorite 'extra curricular activity'!
Emit kept asking me why the water is so dirty :) These babies are spoiled to our crystal clear, turquoise waters! The 'dirty water' did not keep them from having fun though! They jumped off the dock all day long, and had no problem sleeping at night.
Dalton was showing me how to wake board so I could try my hand at it. I've only skied with two skis, so it was definitely a change of pace... but still fun! Dalton, on the other hand, was quite the little pro :)
Tatum and Ava showed us some of their skills too.... MAN, would I love to have these kids down here in Exuma for some fun :) They would LOVE it!!!
We had a WONDERFUL day on the lake with family!
