It's crazy to me that I'm almost gotten a whole year behind on my blog. If Halloween gets here before I can get anymore up... it will be truly disheartening. About this time last year, Dallas was really getting involved in the Exuma Sailing Club . I am so proud of the leadership role he has placed himself in with this group. There are about 6 people that really make that club a strong one for the kids around here, and he's one of them for sure!
Saturdays are usually dedicated to the practices unless we have other work calling him away. The kids seem to have a really great time with it. Of course they don't give out a lot of "THANK-YOU's" to any of the guys that work with the club, but I can't help but to think they are being influenced in a positive way.
We go to some of the practices. The boys have gotten much more tolerable of the days in the boat with the sailing club since this time last year. This particular day below was one that Jeremy & Heather were in town for the weekend during Heather's time in Nassau with the kids. YES, I'm still that far behind on here.
The love playing around the place in town that the boats are kept called Regatta Point. It is a little guesthouse run by a sweet lady, Nancy Bottomley. She is one of the people responsible for some much success with this club as well. She has been unbelievable generous and helpful allowing the club to operate their practices out of here property. My boys love exploring here and climbing the trees, looking at the critters in the water and chasing the kitty around on the grounds.
As I said, things have gotten much better with taking them to the practices. We don't always take them, and this was one of the days that probably would have made everyone's day a little smoother if we hadn't.
For the most part they were fine, but when they get bored and they are stuck on a small boat, it can get very frustrating. Please see photo below with Dallas in the back and a tearful Joss in the front :(
Luckily, they are getting more and more interested in the sailing part of it :) So we haven't completely ruined them on it yet. They ask to go with Daddy to sailing club some days and love getting to help sail these little boats. They may be part of the fun in another year or two...if they want to that is.
I had to snap this picture immediately above this...I caption this with, "Oh My LIFE!!!" ;) Such a rough one, huh??!!??

I didn't realize you had put some post up. Time for some morning reading! Love you guys!
I'm LOVING all the new blogs...I feel I'm further behind in reading and getting glimpses into your life than you are in posting them... Very thankful to see what's happened and to absorb the moments you have enjoyed! Hugs and kisses to the boys, they are simply the GREATEST 😃
