Wow, this past week has been a bit of a whirlwind for me and Joss. Lots of stuff happening in comparison to our usual routine. Last Friday & Saturday, Joss and I met my mom in Atlanta for "Deeper Still: The Event" featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Kay Arthur and the Lifeway Praise Team with Travis Cottrell. It was an amazing event!
All of the speakers were incredible. They gave some heartfelt and passionate messages, and you could feel the Lord speaking through them. One of the messages was about getting back to the TRUTH and God's Word and really using that as our firm foundation. It was so good, and then I would go out into the corridors and hear women complaining about the style of music or something really nit-picky about something that didn't even matter. It made me really sad. I was still very encouraged and convicted about many things, and plan to carry those lessons with me.
After the conference, I got to pick up one of my dearest friends at the airport. AnnMarie has been my closest friend since she and I met in 6th grade out in Kansas when my dad was stationed there. We have kept in touch over the years, and whenever we reunite... we just pick up right where we leave off. She is so precious to me! We had fun just hanging out and catching up. Joss started sitting up on his own this week, and she got to be here for that!! So that was alot of fun.
So now Joss and I are getting settled back into our routine and trying to get rested up for the weekend :)
