The passed two weeks have been pretty busy. We had to get a lot of paperwork and "government stuff" taken care of when we went back to Nassau. Apparently, the fourth visit to the Passport office was the key. In a couple of weeks however our boys will both have their US Passports and Bahamian ones. Travel will be MUCH easier for them in the future.

We went back to Nassau after our short little getaway to GeorgeTown, and about the second day back we were trying to figure out when we could come back home for good.
After taking care of business, going for our last swims at the pool and going to see the horses for the last time...
We are now back HOME!!!! And man does it feel great!

Emit has been doing really well. He's had a little bit of a cold lately (which Joss and I now have), but it was just a little stuffy nose. The picture above is to show you that he's a very messy eater :) "GOT MILK?" He still doesn't sleep very long at a time, or go that far between feedings, but he's growing and loves to cuddle.

Joss is doing great these days too. He is so much fun to talk with. Our last week in Nassau he was wanting to take his books to bed with him. Here's a picture from one of those nights. And of course sleeping with his Bear and Hippo is an automatic...but I cracked up when I went in one night and saw him like this :) Right now, "Go Dog, Go!" is his favorite. He loves to read his books, and I absolutely LOVE that. Makes me want to go out and buy tons and tons of books for him to read over the years.

LOL-- take a look at the picture of Joss in the bottom right corner above. Dallas and I laughed really hard over this one. This was on our flight back home-- he was reading the saftey manual and drinking his juice (looks like Daddy in the morning with his coffee and paper).

This is a genuine smile which melts my heart. He is excited that we're about to read in our chair. I love our bedtime routine of reading. Daddy has been getting in on it more lately now, and Grammy got to enjoy it while she was in Nassau with us. Right now I especially love it because the nights that I get to do story time is really great one-on-one time with Joss. Not that I don't enjoy having one-on-one time with Emit or that I don't get any other time with Joss, but this is just a sweet time of our days.

I love this sweet shot--Moe was helping keep Emit upright in his swing. He is like most babies in the sense where rocking, swaying, riding in the truck or stroller, or some kind of movement lulls him right to sleep. Thank goodness for these wonderful little inventions!

Joss got his first BUZZ cut today :) ahhhhhh, what have I done???? His hair gets so out of control when it gets long, but I absolutely love his sweet little blonde hair too. We've been joking about buzzing his head for a little while now, and today we just did it. I think he looks adorable with the little crew cut! Tonight when I was tucking him in and doing our story time he kept patting his head, so I think he was finally noticing the difference :) I love him in these pj's riding his tricycle. Well, not quite riding, but scooting around on it, but either way I just think he's too cute.

So, remember the star on his belly that we did a couple weeks ago?? Well, he's wanted a star on his belly every day since then. He goes to my office stuff and points to the drawer that has my markers in it, says "TARZ" and then pulls his shirt up so I can see his belly. I can't say No to that little routine. I'm starting to use yellow more because I don't want him to get a permanent marker tatoo :) And it's not good enough to just give HIM a star. I usually always have to give myself one (of course it's not as cute on my tummy), then tonight Daddy and Emit had to get one too. I pretended to put one on Emit. Once we all had our stars Joss was happy.
Hope you've enjoyed the pics and little tales!!

How cute can they get??? I have mixed emotions about the buzz - even though I love it - his beautiful blond hair was just part of him :0) Emit and his "Got Milk" is great - I thought he was sweating - thanks for clarifying!!! Glad you are back home and hope everyone gets a routine going that makes thing run smoothly... I love my Alabahamian Sneetchies!
oh my goodness how cute are they?!?!?! I love Joss' new haircut and I really love the picture of Joss asleep in his crib and the one of him kissing Emit. So sweet! It IS still so weird to think about Joss being the big brother. I bet he's a great one though! Glad you guys are back at home!!!!!
Love, love , love the stories and pictures. I can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks. Aunt Bev is dying to get some quality time with Joss and Emit! I can't wait to see you either sis!
