7 Months Comparison

Now I know they aren't hard to tell apart anymore, but I just thought it would be fun to do another side-by-side. I've been going through pictures for one project or another like crazy lately and I came across some older ones of Joss. I honestly cannot believe how quickly he has changed and how fast time has gone by. I can hear my mom saying something like "Yeah, and just think of how fast 28 years has gone by for me!" It's truly insane. You really need big milestones in your life it seems to grasp how quickly it really does go by...a graduation, marriage, baby, etc.

I was trying to think back through the pictures that I was going through to remember little things about Joss to compare to Emit now, and it is crazy how similar they are yet so completely different too. I'm anxous to see Little Emit's personality grow more and more like we've seen Joss'.

The other night Joss was very restless for some reason. It was very uncommon for him, so I was concerned it might be a tummy ache or something that didn't feel good. I finally went in and picked him up to just rock him for a bit (which is such a treat to get that snuggle time with him just laying there on me). I was trying to find out what was bothering him and I asked him if he had had a dream about something. In the sweetest voice possible he replied very quitely "Yes". I then went on to try to find out what he was dreaming about and all the while he would only answer "yes" or "no" in the softest and most adorable whisper ever. I was asking questions like "Did you dream about going down a slide? Did you dream about swimming? Did you dream about horses?" "no" and then finally I hit the jackpot with "Did you dream about a train?" "yes" "Was it a big train?" "yes" "Were you going up big hills?" "yes" "Was it going fast?" "yes" "Was it red train?" "no" "Was it a green train?" "no" "Was it a blue train?" "yes" and that was it. No more answers after that. So we just cuddled for a bit. It was soooo sweet!

Emit is really getting around well these days. He was playing with this little rubber turtle earlier today and it just looked so cute the way he would have to crawl to it and pick it up and then when it would slip out of his hands it would take so much effort for him to get it back. Such a tiny little guy in the big ole floor.
His top teeth are days away from cutting through and he is chewing and drooling on everything :)

That's all for now :) Just a "quick" little post of my two favorite boys in the world!

awww I am so glad you posted those comparison pictures! I was just telling my mom yesterday how they were starting to look different from each other. Those pictures are so precious!! I bet Emit has a much better tan at 7 months than Joss did.
Kisses from Uncle Germy, Aunt Hefer and Baby Mason! I bet if Joss and Emit were here, Mason would come out and play!!
