I just uploaded a ton of pictures and videos to our Phanfare Site If you didn't get the email and need the password... just let me know. This will be my last upload on Phanfare due to their raise in fees. We'll find an alternative... or just add even more pics and videos on here :)
Joss is getting really good at pedaling his little tricycle. We'll be upgrading for his b-day in December to a bike with training wheels...shhh, don't tell him :) It's so funny because Ann Ligon says that Hagen had a little bike just like this before they moved down here, and he never rode it. Now, he and Joss fight over who gets to ride it almost every single day. Ahhh, the sharing stage....not loving it so much, but we're learning (Joss and me).
Notice Emit's little point below.... that's his one finger that he uses to point at anything. I just love it! He's so close to talking and saying some real words. He's trying that's for sure.
Joss is gaining his independence or at least trying to more and more each day. He's constantly saying things to me like "How bout I do it" or "I do it myself!". He's even getting to where if I ask him, "Can I help you with that?" he'll reply with "Nope, I'm good!" :) When he's climbing around like he is below in the tree he'll be sure to say to me, "Mommy, look I'm a Monkey Man!" (that's what I would say to him before...but now he says it before I can). He says everything before we can. He's such a little chatter box. I'm trying to work on him with knowing when to be quiet (When we're trying to talk on the phone, or to each other, etc), but he is just not wanting to do that so much just yet. He just talks and talks and talks! I'm really surprised that Emit is even trying to talk because you usually hear of kids that are around talkers being a little quieter...but Emit is trying his best to keep up with Joss every breath of the way.
Potty training is coming along...very slowly, but it's coming. We are flying through diapers these days... Emit is also catching up to Joss in his diaper use...they both go all day long :) I'm gonna have to switch back to my cloth ones soon since we're about out of our stash that CC & Poppy brought back and I hate buying diapers (or should I say, disposable underwear made of gold) down here.
I had to get a picture of Emit in the peanut shell. I was going through some old pics and saw Joss in this at this age and thought maybe I should pull it out some more. Emit loves to be held especially when all the chaos is going on out in the driveway with all the kids... so this will be getting use still, I really LOVE this thing (and both of the precious babes it's held).
Recently my sister gave me her old iTouch which I am LOVING!!! It's not really like I need something like that down here, but it's been a fun little treat for me to play around with. And something for me to put MY music on. Our Church has this thing called You Version which is an online bible with many translations, reading plans, discussions, all kinds of resources for bible study. I've been up and down and in and out with my quiet times, and this thing has been a real blessing in that area. I've got a reading plan that is called the Essential 100 that I've actually been really good at sticking with so far. I know as soon as I put that on here something is going to step up in that area to be a roadblock, but I'm also using it as an accountability tool. Hopefully I'll tell you in 81 days that I've completed that Reading Plan and moving on to the next :)
Last week we decided to start eating dinner as a family. We usually feed the boys, put them to bed and then we have dinner just the two of us. Well, Joss has finally started trying more food lately, so we decided to give it a chance. He's done so great so far. He likes eating at the table like a big boy with us (I LOVE us all eating at the table together). He's so cute when we say our prayer too. We hold hands and he just sits there putting his head up and down and grinning ear to ear (all the while being very quiet while we pray).
We are very anxiously waiting for a guy to get a loan from the bank for our boat. He came by about a week and a half ago and said he wanted it... so once he buys that, we'll be able to get our new engines! The timing will be really great if it happens over the next two weeks or so... Please Lord, let that timing fit yours.
This is our little outing we had with Joel, Ann Ligon, their boys and a few kids from our neighborhood for Caleb's b-day.
Joss is having fun here with the sting rays that we were playing with. I posted a little video clip of the sting rays on our work blog last week in case you want to see it.
I didn't want to be left out on all the fun flying through the air... so here's a shot of a little flip the guys helped me do :) So much fun!
Mason, won the height award for sure!
Dallas... I'm not sure what happened here :) he was TRYING to do a backflip too.
And of course Joss wasn't going to get left out on the jumping fun :)
More to come--I'm captioned-out for now... all those pics on Phanfare did a toll on me!

This is filled with some high flying action!!! I can sense a lot of growing going on - some painful and some just wonderful sweet moments... I love watching them play together and some of your captured "snaps" are priceless!!! So may great pictures - I need more wall, desk and shelf space to display them :0)
Love and hugs...
