I love them with all my heart...

With all these pictures lately I am in the blogging mood :) This one has a lot of Emit pictures. He's a lot easier to snap shots of because he doesn't move quite as fast as Joss, and he still sticks close to mommy when we're running around out side. I'll work on Joss with the photos, but I've got lots of little stories with him right now...
My Little Men are quite the chatter boxes. Some days Joss wakes up going and just won't quit. At times it's hilarious and entertaining, and other times it is exhausting and I get very stressed and feel like I'm being pulled in a million directions and can't meet anyone's needs. "Momma, I need juice...I want my white truck...where daddy go???" Meanwhile Emit heard the slightest wrinkle of a bag or wrapper and is ready for a snack, so he's doing his little "feed me grunt!" I think Moms should have super hero type abilities bestowed upon them (if even for a temporary period) so we can do all the little things we want and need to do during a day and not feel like failures when we can't get it ALL done. What do ya'll think?? :) Let's petition the Lord on this one and maybe He'll pull some strings for us.
If you recall, Joss has always wanted us to repeat the things he says to us so he knows that we got what he was telling us. Well, lately he communicates much better, so we don't always feel the need to reassure him that we heard and understood him, but apparently he doesn't like that. So his new thing is the say "Tell me, 'insert whatever Joss just told us to say' mom (or dad)!" And then we'll have to tell him what he just told us to say :)
Joss can say his ABC's all the way!!!!! Every now and then he'll get stuck, but he knows them :) I'm so impressed and proud!
In this picture below you can kind of see Emit's little patch of hair right in the middle of his head that is a little lighter than the rest, and much longer than the rest. It's very obvious when you're standing above him. I think it's really cute on him.
Emit is carrying on full conversations these days... I just don't speak Chinese. I swear when Joss was this age he sounded German, but Emit has got a distinctive Chinese "twang" in there somewhere :) It's pretty cute to hear.
Poor Emit has been getting more and more teeth in the back...he has the front four on top and bottom and then it skipped back to his molars...these just look more painful to me. He hasn't been resting very well at all.

Emit threw his juice bottle off the dock the other day and all the turtles were coming close to check it out.
Joss is mine and Dallas' boy through and through! The other day he started quoting "Thomas and Friends" out of no where. He said plain as day, "Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Island of Sodore!" I had a super shocked reaction and then I forgot to tell Dallas about it and then he said it again the next day around Dallas and he had a great reaction too :) What a fun age!!
The other day we were playing with the boys next door and Mason made a little comment like "Well, since Hagen is my brother so he can play with this toy because he's my brother, but because it's his birthday." At first I was a little frustrated because it's a constant 'learning time' with all the boys on sharing which can get pretty tiresome pretty fast. But then I kind of sat back and was like, "awww, that was kind of sweet brotherly love!" Joss and Emit play so well together. No, Joss doesn't like it when Emit wrecks his toys or takes the one he really likes, but Joss is really good to give Emit a different toy or to make sure he's okay if he starts crying. And the second Emit makes a noise after his naps Joss says, "Oh, I heard that...Emit's up!" and he wants to go running in to get him out of his crib :) Such good little brothers already!
Dallas and John carrying back the cleaned fish--Yummy guys, thank you for filling my freezer full!
Emit is chasing down Snarf in these next couple of shots. He was squealing and having a good ole time!
I just love these dimples here :)
Joss has been dressing Hippo right along side himself lately. Hippo needs a diaper, Hippo prefers to wear 'big boy pants' and go to the potty, so he gets those instead. Hippo needs a shirt to keep him warm. Hippo needs shoes on his feet so his feet won't get hurt. "Hippo--I love the joy you bring to my little Joss!"
Emit finally caught up with Snarf. "titthhy" (as Emit tries to say kitty).
This is a common look for Joss...Hippo, white truck and a few other toys to boot! He has ALWAYS got a toy with him no matter where we go. CC & Poppy, does this image remind you at all of me carrying ALL of my stuffed animals with me to college?? :)

Great pics and stories sis! I can't believe how much love Hippo gets. Got to say I never expected that kind of reaction. I love you guys so much. I can't wait to see you! The boys are sooooooo cute and sweet.

Always wonderful to see the boys in action, but in truth, without your stories we would miss so much of what they are doing! It's amazing how quickly they are growing and I love hearing that they play well together :0) Love Emit's dimples and determination to keep up with Joss and Snarf! Yes, the photo of Joss does remind me of you heading off to college with all your "stuffed pals!"
The photo of Hippo deserves a frame for future memories...
Love ya LOTS!!!
