Nassau Zoo

As I said, lots more pics of the zoo to come :) The boys had a great time!
This turtle in the collage below is the tiniest turtle I have ever seen in person. He was in a little fenced off area with a couple other smaller one, but he was so itty bitty. Joss below that is giving me his classic "refill please" look. This boy cannot have an empty juice cup, and he chugs it all at once which means all day everyday it seems like we are filling his cup. We dilute it, so it is mostly water, but he and Emit both get so annoyed when we put straight up water in there. I don't think the Knowles Family is royalty, but if you were to ask Joss and Emit they may think otherwise ;)
As I said before, the boys love the movie Rio these days and got very excited to see some of the birds like on that movie. One of the birds was saying 'hello' and 'goodbye' and they really got a kick out of that.
I loved this little bridge below and wanted to get a cute little shot of my guys together... of course, they don't really cooperate yet with shots like these. Joss is getting better, but usually only when it is him alone. Little Stinkers!

One of the coolest things about this zoo was the flamingo and peacock areas. They had them out in the yard just letting them walk around us and it was so much fun to just be near them. I just love being close to animals at a zoo, under to ocean, in our yard... animals are cool :)
I was a little nervous with Emit squatting beside the birds like this. They are animals after all and I was afraid one of them was going to sort of peck at him or something and totally freak him out. Luckily, none of them did.

Feeding the goats was our grand finale and they got a kick out of that. I ran out of space on my card when we got here, so I had to call it quits with the pics :) Needless to say, they were having a blast. A nice way to spend a morning in Nassau!

This looks like such a fun outing. Its neat how interactive you can be with the animals there. I had no idea it was this nice. :)
I just can not believe how big Emit is looking in all the pictures these days. I feel like since his birthday, a switch flipped and he is growing up super fast. His haircut is so cute!

Wow, what fun! Beats the Birmingham Zoo - love the colors, the ability to interact and be so close to the critters... Glad Emit did not get frigtened by the birds - he's adorable getting down on their level... Love the faces and expressions you captured on the boys - bridge shots are precious!!! Another fun adventure and blog to share with us... thanks!
