I am powering through and determined to get caught up on the blog while I have a small lull in things going on right now. Hoping to start school on Monday, so I have a few more days to do things here. These are our last few batches of Camp pictures from this summer.

We were more than happy to be finished with the summer camp with the kids, but thankful for the money it brought in while it lasted. It was a bit taxing on our mental states though, so we're still trying to decide if it was worth it :) I think we'll try again next year and maybe tweak it a bit.
I love how Emit's hands are under the water in this set below. He is so expressive with his hands when he talks and he was clearly telling me something under the water too :)
The random shots of me when I have the really cheezy expressions (like above) is when Joss grabs the camera to take some pictures :) I can't help but put them on here to see how his photography improves over time, trust me it isn't because I'm thinking "man I look great in that shot, gotta put it on here".
Tubing was always a hit with the kids, but the waiting in between turns not so much. We would always have one or two that thought they could tell everyone what was going on with the group and that basically meant they were "next" every time. Then someone would get upset and start crying or getting mad because they were supposed to be next. So as fun as it was for the two in the tube, the rest of us were not having quite as much fun.
Ahhhh... beautiful Secret Beach! The kids thought it was so cool that we were hiking over the island to Secret Beach, they didn't even care that other people had been to it before, they just thought it was cool that it was called Secret Beach and they had to follow the hidden trails to get to it. Next year we are totally making some old pirate looking maps, hiding a treasure in the sand and letting the kids follow the map to the Secret Beach :)
First things first (above)...all the kids had to meet the dragons in the cave :)
Then it was time to play in the BIG waves!
This game lasted a long time, thankfully! We were about an hour away from pickup time and we were in desperate need of kids just playing, and this worked perfectly.
Joss was having a ball in the big waves, he would let them crash on him an just laugh like crazy. Some of them were crashing pretty hard, so we had to keep him in really close. He's laying down here, so it was really shallow right there but the swells were coming in.
Leighton (here in the pink) reminds me so much of a Cabbage Patch Baby Doll. She has the cutest little chubby legs and rolls :)
Having so much fun...
Leighton & Emit here were our youngest campers. Leighton is a couple months younger than Emit. Emit was totally not in to the photo opp.
Couldn't even make it home after we got in the truck without this little guy falling asleep :) One very high point for camp...any day we had camp, we were guaranteed a good night's sleep from the boys and an easy bedtime.
Some folks that did a charter with us one day ended up sending their kids to one of the camps and then invited us up for dinner before they left the island. This rental house makes me drool...
Mainly the space, the waterfront property, their own pool, and oh yeah, their own docking space that would house Overdraft perfectly!! Ahh, one can dream can't she :) It took me double checking the picture above with the little man leaning over into the water to know it was Emit. They look so much alike right now, but his expression is what had me wondering at first. It is most definitely Emit though :)

I love the pictures ;0) Really can't believe the relaxed comfort the boys have in the water now and my goodness, they have grown so much in just the past two months ;0( Wow, what a house! I did a double take on a few of the pictures trying to figure out who was who :0)
