A trip to visit CC & Poppy in Alabama wouldn't be complete without a trip to ride the train at Noccalula Falls :)
These boys LOVE riding this little train and will talk about it for a really long time to come. They will think about it at the most random times and be like, "Mommy, you know that 'yittle' red train up at CC & Poppy's? I really miss that red train. I 'wush' (wish) we could go ride it today." If only it were that easy babes, I'd fly us back and forth if I could.
We met up with Heather (sis-in-law) and Mason this day because all the little boys are crazy about this little train. Mason gets to come here quite a bit probably because it is pretty close to his grandparents as well, but I think it would take a lot for any of them to lose their enthusiasm.
They were very anxious for the little train to come around and pick them up. ALL ABOARD...
Poor Mason fell right on his face just moments before we stepped on the train. He was so excited for the train :(
Emit's look here below cuts right through the screen to this momma's heart. I see this look a lot when he's not too sure about something. I snapped this picture and then gave him a little wink and told him we were going to have fun and he smirked and looked more relaxed. It is amazing how these little ones feed off of our emotions and how much faith they have in us. Totally terrifies me at times when I'm not so sure about something myself but I want to be brave for my babes...but this one was an easy fix :)
This sweet lion at the 'petting zoo' and rehab area was rolling all around on her back just purring like a little house cat.
She was so sweet, but it made me sad seeing her in there all by herself just wanting some interaction :( Poor girl.
Next, we moved on to the petting area. There were deer, goats, llamas, sheep, and probably some other animals all mixed in here.
This deer was named Bucky. The boys loved this because their new toy that Bev gave them from a new show they like is also named Bucky.
Xander was about to miss out on any of the fun by going to sleep...no way :)
Love seeing their expressions and reactions to stuff like this.
Mason was having a pretty good time too, I think :)
LOL, this shot with Joss and the Llama below makes me laugh every time I see it. It needs a good caption like, "Now, what kind of animal are you supposed to be?" or "Who is more curious?" I can't help but giggle because Joss was running way ahead of us at each spot and then I rounded the corner and saw him standing there with this guy having a little face-off :)
"It's just like the Three Billy Goats Gruff, mom! But where's the ka-troll (troll)?"
I'm a sucker for old worn down stuff like this for pictures. I thin it looks really cool. Of course, Emit didn't hang around too long for me to get too many, but I think it is cute still :)
Xander's turn to check out the llama.
Mason trying to fee the goats.
And then they have a little indoor area with reptiles, a little crocodile, birds, iguana, guinea pigs and rabbits.

Emit liked the bunny rabbits, but they kept hopping out of his reach.
Waiting for the train again...
Next stop....the PLAYGROUND!!!!
It is a lot of fun to watch the boys play on these things at this stage. They are old enough to play on them without me being afraid every single step of the way that they are going to fall and get hurt really badly, but still young enough to not try to do the most reckless thing possible on the stuff. Lots of fun right now :)
They make it look like a lot of fun for sure!
Emit is still my baby though and I love it. This one makes him look little to me still for some reason.
Mason wasn't about to miss out on the fun.
This thing was really cool. Joss was so cute playing on it.
He's thinking, "I'm not so sure I like this...but wait, I do....but maybe not, but yes..I do :)
Oh yeah!!! Cool DUDES!
Handsome little Emit :)
And Joss crossed the monkey bars all by himself!!!!!!!
Just FYI, we don't have any monkey bars from him to practice on.. This was maybe his third time ever to play on them. I WAS PROUD!!!!
One last little ride before we call it quits :)
It was a fun afternoon ladies and gents!

It's really a fun area to explore! So glad they enjoyed themselves and continue to recall the fun they had. Love the close up moments you captured, they can bring each activity to life with their excitement! Sweet day of fun and Xander's first train ride...hope to have many more outings like this in the future!!!
