It's the time of year again where we needed some up-to-date family photos. I was looking back over 2012 and had about 2 family shots of us...not cool. My neighbor, Ann Ligon, was sweet to take my camera and snap some pictures of us one morning out in our nice and green part of the yard. Hope to get more grass around the rest of it soon.
Ahh, I just love these! They capture my little dudes so well and make me smile.
We made the mistake of doing this upside down one early on, so after we did that they kept asking to go upside down more.
Emit stayed straight as a board at first, but Joss was trying to swing himself all over the place. Thank goodness Daddy is pretty strong :)
There will be no shortage of laughter in this family :)
Love these boys...all three!
I've wanted one of these shots for a long time now. I may make it black and white and mostly just the hands, but "a family that prays together stays together."
I love Emit's dirty little fingernails above... that's us! No putting on a show for the camera around here :)
I wish we could see their face more in this one above, but I LOVE this one! My strong man juggling his family like a pro ;) XOXO
I tried snapping a few of the boys afterwards and they were not really into it. Emit's still toting around his spyglass.
This one they were at least looking at me.
They have rediscovered this tree. Long time ago we had a little bench out here by it. It go messed up and I haven't built us a new one yet, but the tree obviously hasn't gone anywhere. But they seem to have forgotten about it. We were climbing on it this morning and now they take their snacks over to it, they play around it again, they sit on it to wait for the boys next door to get home from school.
They are rotten to the core, that's for sure, but they are also very sweet. Emit has been so lovey. He just runs up to me out of the blue, on average at least 20 times a day, and gives me a big ole hug and tells me he loves me and that I'm his 'best friend all day'. Now, if he gets mad it's another story, but at least he doesn't yell, "I hate you" or anything but he does say, "You can't be my best friend all day!" He doesn't just say it to me, but to anyone that makes him mad. Poor boy, I know he's upset when he says that.
Awwww... I just love these two!
The run around, when they are happy, saying "You're the best Mom/Dad a kid 'never' had" (which is a huge compliment from them). And so when I say something to the boys like, "I'm so proud of how nicely you guys are playing" Joss usually says, "We're the best kids a mom never had too, huh mom." So now I just tell him that and he gets his I am so proud of what my mommy just said to me look on his face, it's really sweet :)
I am caught up on the posts for the photos I have uploaded for now. About 2 posts away from being totally caught up. This hasn't been the case since way back in the year! HALLELUJAH!!!!! :)
Hope you've enjoyed them.
