Our network of friends is growing on our little island :) Our friends next door, Joel & Ann Ligon, are our ticket to meeting other families with kiddos from the school. This family here is from South Africa and Ireland and came to us from England. James, Kerri and their young'ins Charlie and Holly are some of our newest friends around here.
This fun filled day (and two part post) was for Miss Holly's 1st birthday back in December.
Holly (the birthday girl) and her mom, Kerri!
Joss and Emit love playing at 'Charlie's house'.. this was our first day over there and boy did they have fun.
Bouncy Castles are always a hit with the kids.
Maybe we'll have to opt for the Dora Explorer one next time around since our 'police car' one wasn't in as good of shape as this one. I doubt the boys will mind one bit!
Charlie was so good about sharing all his toys with all the kids.
Surprisingly, there were very few squabbles over toys this day. Charlie is the one just to the right of Joss in the picture below.
Happy Holly (as long as mom is right there) :) She still hasn't quite warmed to the idea of going to me, but she sure is one happy baby when mommy is right there with her.
Emit scarfing down a cupcake...
And this was one of Joss & Emit's favorite activities...
Racing the riding toys down the walkway of course. My job was to catch them at the end to keep them from running into the cars.
My boys get so distracted with stuff like this they forget to play with the other kids that are around. I'm not too concerned because they can jump in and interact with kids when they want to.
And how about this for a beach front...
not too shabby, eh? And they live on one of the nicest beaches for housing around.
All the littles singing to the birthday girl above :) What a fun little party--Well done, Kerri & James!
This little snail made an appearance in our church praise songs too :) Oh yeah and check out this cool little pirate fort Charlie has on the beach.. fun or what?
Once the party hit the beach it was like another party all together... which is why I have another post for that part!
