I never expected it to take me to APRIL to get my Christmas post up, much less to get my Christmas cards in the mail. That's right, tomorrow I will finally mail them out. What a weight lifted! I'm going to get started now for this year's cards :)
CC gave the boys their Christmas goodies from her and Poppy just before she flew home. They have had a blast on these scooters almost every day since!
Of course when I bring out my camera, out come the silly faces :)
LOL, Emit and his little tongue!
BROTHERS
Isn't he cute with his little shoes?
Just another afternoon on Conchy Joe Lane!
Christmas Eve Jammies.... yeah we went with a theme all around this year :) ANGRY BIRDS!!!
The boys are still thrilled about these jammies too and wear them as soon as I can get them washed. If you're interested in a quick peek into how our Christmas Day went, here's a little video we pieced together. Merry Christmas, in April :)
Santa hit a home-run with these plasma cars :) Or as the boys call them, Helicopters! Another EVERYDAY enjoyment. Daddy got some Coffee, Mommy got a few new books--perfection!
The boys also got this cool Marble Run. It is a bit of a pain to assemble, and can fall if it isn't put together well, but it provides lots of entertainment for these guys too.
Dallas' big toy was a GoPro camera. He's made a couple great videos already. If you want to see them his YouTube channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/dallasknowles
Joss & Emit landed on cloud 9 with a new X-Box game, Sonic All-Stars. Of course, Sonic has become quite the 'super stud' around the house now.
We have to limit their time on this thing like crazy because they would probably sit in front of it all day if we let them. And if we do give them a little extra time on it to buy us a little time, they have major breakdowns when we ask them to turn it off. It is really crazy and scary how immersed they can get into these games. They haven't played it in over a week right now and they ask multiple times a day if they can play it. Luckily, my 'X-Box loving hubby' can see the danger it poses at this stage, so he's totally on board with limiting the time too. Trust me, we find lots of other fun things to do instead like....
Riding our 'helicopters' down the 'big hill' on our road :)
Yes, we all still have our PJ shirts on at this point :) That's the best way to spend Christmas Day in my book.
YAY!!!
It was Christmas, so we did go in for a little more Sonic with Daddy this time around.
Then we pulled out some of our other new games to play. Like Jenga...
Emit wasn't too happy when it crashed the first few times, but then...
he didn't mind so much :)
Sweet boys with their new monster trucks!
Don't you love how they are just in big boy pants :) Too excited for clothes. Sweet smooch!
Trying to plan their 'helicopter' attack on the driveway.
They also enjoyed giving Mazy his gift from us (a bible with his name on it).
Overall it was a very BLESSED and sweet day to celebrate the birth of our precious Lord and Savior!
