Dallas took the boys with him up to Staniel Cay one night when he had to go do a resupply for a group up that way. I stayed behind for the night to work on something...everything...my to-do list that never gets shorter ;) I don't even remember exactly what it was that I had PLANNED to do over this day they'd be out, but it turned into a day at the computer responding to emails and an unusually busy day talking on the phone to all sorts of people. It was all new calls that came in that day too, so I was very relieved it happened while I was here working, but it was crazy because that meant I didn't get around to anything else I was trying to get caught up on. And so goes it, right? :)
Oh, I am the luckiest girl in the world :) Look at my guys!! I'm sorry... I just can't get over how incredibly blessed I am sometimes. I hope and pray each of you feel that same sense of joy with your families.
The boys were heading out and saying their goodbyes. They would be gone for about 27 hours.
First pee break of the trip was still within range of my camera from the beach :)
The rest of these photos were from Daddy's camera on their little trip.
What makes a boat trip with Daddy really fun???
Time on the iPad!!!!!
Daddy and his boys!
Joss snapped a few too :)
Excited to be arriving in Staniel Cay.
Dallas had so much fun with these guys on this little trip of theirs. They were way jazzed about going to the island with the golf carts. Dallas had some spare time in the afternoon so they just drove around exploring on the golf cart.
He said that the golf cart gave a big kick and jumped every time he would put it in gear after starting it up, and one time it didn't and he said, "Whoa, that was a good one!" So whether it jumped or not every time he started it after that the boys said, "Whoa, that was a good one!" Just because they wanted to be like their cool daddy :)
Golf cart + Chips= Mommy Who?? ;)
They parked right here at the little airstrip for a while watching the planes land and take off.
This is the fancy 'airport terminal' on Staniel Cay.
The Yacht Club had a mardi gras party that night, so the boys were getting all sorts of goodies from folks.
A little more time on the iPad before bedtime in hopes of calming them down a little after all the excitement. Can you see their teepee here on the right side of the picture above? Dallas took that to setup in the room for them to sleep in.
They loved it :)
Boat ride back home to mommy!
Next time... I'm going ;)
