This was Mother's Day :) After church we headed out on the boat and for a relaxing afternoon at Chat-n-Chill. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. Petting stingrays, playing a little volleyball, laughing at tourists drinking a little too much on their vacations, playing with my precious family...pretty lucky momma indeed!
With our new found love of the regatta scene, we are learning there are a ton of other regattas held around the Bahamas throughout the rest of the year. And lots of them are held in the Exumas :)
The one following the big one was up in Barraterre. Lucky for us it was a short tow up the mainland.
We had a blast over this long weekend exploring the cays that are just south of the area we usually run our trips in. The more time I spend in Exuma, the more I realize there is so much to enjoy and explore.
My Sand Dollar Studs!
A while ago I mentioned some cookies I made for a Homeschool meeting we had a while back. Recently a group of mom's, mostly, that homeschool, are considering homeschooling, or have homeschooled got together. We're officially starting an association here in Exuma :)
So these were some fun cookies I did for our little intro party. I haven't been able to go back to another meeting yet, but I'm excited to have this group and network! Another confirmation 'of sorts' that we can do this.
