I can't believe I am still working on these photos from the summer in Alabama. So bummed at how behind I am, but I can't skip over these months...so I keep pressing forward, and hope you don't give up on me ;)
Most of the pics in this post were from my phone... lots of little snaps here and there of our daily happenings. It was so refreshing to have my mom at home and feeling a little better. Still not back to par, but way more improved that she had been the other times she was at home.
Emit wasn't about to miss out on any back scratches if CC was offering them. We spent a lot of time with Dalton & Tatum which my boys LOVED for sure!
I was really proud of my boys and how they were with my mom. I wanted to make sure they were calm and gentle with her, and they were so sweet. They are more rough with her now, and still need to be gentle, but I think they did pretty fantastic during this time of her treatment.
I got to take the boys to their first movie. We went to see Turbo. And to make it even better... there was a fire alarm during the movie, so we had to evacuate the theater and hang out by the firetrucks outside. Couldn't have planned it better if I had tried.
We had to come back to the next showing for the movie so we had a bit of time to kill. We headed to the park nearby to run off some energy before trying the movie again.
They LOVED the movie and the experience! Big hit :) While I was over there, I went ahead and ordered our Halloween costumes. We were going as a family of Supers...you'll have to wait until I get to the Halloween pics to see me and Dallas all decked out. I had to hide their costumes so they wouldn't destroy them before the big event. The day they got them and tried them on, my mom had a few visitors and the boys were literally jumping off the walls and furniture testing out their new-found superhero powers!
We took their new bikes up to the school parking lot a couple of times before school started back up. They loved skidding across the slick asphalt, taking my breath away with every skid. CC & Poppy came by a couple times to get a bit of Vitamin D and fresh air.
Cozy snuggles and naked bottoms... great combo :)
A few more Bama posts and then back to the Bahamas we go...

Loving all the posts and the walk down memory lane with ya girl! Keep pushing along, you'll get caught up eventually….and then get behind again. Why does it have to be this way for us?!!. But these memories we are recording are worth it!!! I'm off to do some Christmas blog posts now. :) xoxoxo
Your chugging along ahead of me on the track then ;) I'll try to keep up! I've started doing the collages with FOTOR instead of doing them all in photoshop, so that is helping me go quicker with that part, at least until I get caught up! Thanks for checking in ;) Love seeing pics of your sweet kiddos!!
